[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it in October and received it in January. It took a long time because of Covid-19, but it was worth the wait. It has such great features, such as the slim design ice dispenser. It doesn't have the big ice container that takes up one whole shelf. And it has plenty of storage room on the side doors, which is a big plus.

The black stainless steel is nice to look it, and it does not get smudged by finger or handprints (which is great because we have a 3 and a 5 year old). The interior is also huge! It stores all of our food, plus much more! I do not have to stack things or hide them in the nooks and crannies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 2011 model "died". We replaced it with what we were told was a fridge with the same dimensions. Apparently not! It sticks out in the room about 3 inches farther than the old one which we are learning to live with, but not exactly what we wanted. Also miss the enclosed dairy area in the right door. Otherwise are happy with the rest, especially the sliding drawer configuration. A main reason for choosing this fridge is the location of the icemaker in the door, not the fridge although the size of the cubes is a bit small. Also love the two drawer freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this frigidaire/freezer for our kitchen and my wife was instantly in love with it. It has a lot of space and makes it very easy for my. Also the freezer drawer makes it easy to store and find everything. We have other LG appliances in our home in Florida and in our 2nd home in China. The only bad part was that we didn't bought it earlier.

Within 3 hours of fridge installation, it displayed an error which caused the refrigerator to shut down. The error resulted in a cooling fault because the compressor fan was not working. It turned out the fan cable was not connected which was possible a factor issue. The cable has a key lock so it seems unlikely it would come unplugged during shipping. We were able to work around the issue by power-cycling the fridge every time this error occurred - about every 3 or 4 hours. The issue has since been resolved by a service technician. There is a second issue that the water from the dispenser has a plastic/metallic taste. The cable connecting the fridge to the water line has been replaced and this has helped, but the water taste is still substandard (not like our old fridge of 14 years). We are still trying to resolve this issue. Other than that the fridge is very nice. It appears to be very well designed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the space in this refrigerator however I wish LG would have made the right pull out drawer a little less wide so that it could be opened fully without opening both French doors. Otherwise a nice refrigerator

Four years ago when we were completely remodeling our kitchen including floor, walls, cabinets, plumbing, electric to gas, my wife decided that she wanted to replace all appiances with LG—that included dishwasher, full size gas stove, microwave mounted above gas stove, and a 28 ft double door double freezer drawer refrigerator/freezer. Being a Kenmore man from early years I was not excited about going with LG. After no success in convincing her otherwise we went with HER desires to the tune of well over $5k. My concerns caused me to also take the 4-year warranty coverage which in retrospect did not hold a candle to LG’s willingness to support its own product. We purchased our appliances in the May 2018 era… all was well until we returned home one weekend and found that all of our frozen food in freezer was completely thawed out; and all of our refrigerated items were at or above room temperature--- THE UNIT HAD STOPPED COOLING. I called LG and reported the issue. I was very pleased to hear that LG had a 5-year parts and labor warranty on the refrigerator and a 10-year parts only on it. They took my info and said that I would be contacted. I heard from a repair service within a week. When I described the issue the technician knew immediately what the problem was. He asked me if he could have the appropriate parts sent to me so that when the service person arrived it would be ready for him. That was agreed on and the parts arrived as promised. The repair person also arrived as promised. Only a short time after his arrival he began to correct the problem. He left with confidence that the issue was resolved and that my refrigerator would be cooling down within a few hours. And, to my surprise and great pleasure he was 100% correct. We had missed our refrigerator while it was out of service. We love… I love our LG refrigerator!!! Thank you LG and thank you A&E Service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am so happy I bought the lg refrigerator. I now have a great freezer system , being that I put the most used items in thr top freezer drawer. The lower drawer I put items that I want to keep for a few months. I will more frequently use the top drawer. The filters are more easy to replace and this is the first time I have a air filter built into the refrigerator. Love how much easier it is to use.

I've had this fridge for about 9 months now and it's great. I've noticed, though, that the button to make extra ice sometimes doesn't work if I use it too much. When making ice ahead of time for a party, I can't make extra ice for a few days in a row. It just won't work. Not sure why?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been living with the fridge for about 2 months. It looks great and works well overall. For the price, I still think it was a great deal, but here are things I would have the product development people at LG think about: 1) The full width drawer is super annoying. To have to open both doors to get out a slice of cheese or whatever makes no sense. 2) There is no enclosed butter section on the doors, and the top door shelf is annoyingly high for the shorter members in my family due to the deep lip. 3) The water that comes out of the front door dispenser is really warm, you absolutely have to add ice. 4) The sides of the fridge are bowed out in the middle, so if you have a tight cabinet space you might be in trouble. There is a good 1/2" difference in width between the top or bottom and the middle, specifically worse toward the back of the fridge. I almost couldn't get in in. 5) Ice machine capacity is limited and if you are constantly filling water jugs like our active family you will quickly run out. 6) Height adjustment of all shelves, interior and door, are way too limited, and a milk jug fits fine but a standard bottle of wine with a stopper does not. 7) Also, if you care about the wifi connection, it's only 2.4GHz, annoying with my modern mesh routers.
