Great Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge just over a year ago and we are very happy. There is plenty of space and we love the 2 freezer drawers that accommodate everything we put in it. The one drawback is that the ice dispenser is not that big. We don't use much ice normally, so for everyday use it's fine. If you are having people over you will need to by a bag of ice. But, overall this is a great product and we would buy it again.

Games are played

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Repair man took 189 for new filters. I was told there would be no other charge and initial deposit would be refunded back as it was only a temp hold. 3 weeks later they charge my CC for the initial deposit again

Looks pretty!

If there was half stars I would give this fridge a 3.5. Pros: it’s absolutely gorgeous! Adds something extra to the kitchen. Love the 2 freezer drawers! So glad we went with that! Cools very well Good organization inside Cons: The left side of the French door when closed hard the flap doesn’t open up, leaving a gap for cool air to escape The water from the door feature comes out SO fast it gets splash’s all over the fridge, your cup, your hand, everywhere

NOT HAPPY

I bought this in July and have had to have the ice maker replaced. It's still not making ice! They have said a LG tech would reach us to set up time and day. So far we have not heard from them. Been over a week since they told me this. Makes no ice or just two drops of ice.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a month ago and I am still smiling. The stainless steel is stunning and accents my kitchen countertops and other appliances beautifully. I adore the four French-door model. The refrigerator section accommodates all foods and beverages very nicely; the produce/meat/deli drawers are very spacious and well organized. The Open – door alarm is at a comfortable volume and not annoying. The ice/water dispenser in the door works perfectly and is not as loud as other dispensers. Thanks LG —this is the perfect refrigerator!

Terrible refrigerator - Completely died 8/8/2022

Bought this LG refrigerator in 2018. The ice maker has not worked properly and the fridge and noticed cooling and condensation issues, then the freezer stopped working completely 8/8/22. Lost ALL food in the fridge and freezer. Hundreds of dollars lost food-wise, not to mention money lost on an expensive faulty product. Not lasting more than 4 years on such an expensive product is unacceptable. I will never buy a LG product again.

Recall NEEDED on Refrigerator Model: LMXS28626S

We purchased our beautiful LG refrigerator model LMXS28626S brand new in February 2020 and started having problems with it in December 2022. We called the customer service line and they walked us through steps to resolve the issue, but it was temporary. The problem: the ice starts dispensing on its own automatically causing a flood on our kitchen floor. We unplugged the unit and turn off the ice maker. When we turned it back on, the ice features and water would not dispense. The LG customer support line told us to unplug it for 5 minutes, turn the ice Dispenser off and back on "while keeping the left door open," press and hold the lock button, then close the door. Keep it closed for exactly 1 hour without use and then unlock the fridge. Unfortunately, it was a temporarily solution. This happened several times and now, the water and ice Dispenser does not work at all. Why hasn't there been a recall on this model? This is apparently a well known issue and has caused nothing but headaches for us. MODEL LMXS28626S

Worst refrigerator ever!!!!

We have had this refrigerator less than a year. We have called no less then 12 times for a service tech. They have been to our house no less than 4 times. The ice maker is the worst!!! It is the smallest which i didn’t have a problem with but we can not get it to fill no more than a 1/4 full even without using any of it for 48 hours. Save some money and a lot of hassle with repairs and having to take time off work to meet techs and buy something else!!!!

LG Authorized Service not available timely

We bought this refrigerator 2-1/2 years ago which was installed in new construction. The compressor failed. Replacement under warranty required inspection by an LG technician. The soonest available for us in South Carolina was 7-10 days. Then 3-5 days to get the part and schedule another visit to install. Unacceptable! I paid another contractor who was here in 2 hours, got the replacement compressor the next day and installed it. Now LG won't reimburse me for the cost of the compressor which had a 10 year warranty. Also unacceptable! There is no flexibility in their warranty program. All this happened in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic which has us house bound. When I tried to go up the corporate chain to speak to someone "higher up", I was told I could not. A low level person in Executive Services was as far as I could get. There was no one higher. I will attempt to reach someone else in the Consumer Affairs department, but I don't hold out much hope.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For an appliance with such good reviews and high cost, I would have expected it to have lasted longer than 3 years. I lost all my food in the refrigerator and freezer when the compressor stopped working.
