[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 4 years ago. Everything is great except for the defrost on the lower freezer drawer. It freezes shut so when it is finally pulled open huge chuncks of ice break off.. Have called and tried all the suggested fixes-defrost, change the temperature settings, 36 degrees 37 degrees, 35 degrees, 34 degrees, 32 degrees. each time defrosting and restarting. Have been trying for over a week to activate my extended warrenty.. I have talked to so many reps(each one polite) but there is so much red tape to accomplish.. I think I finally have the necessary information-waiting to geta service appoint with my assigned claim number. I cannot call, I have to wait for a email response-waiting 4 days now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this refrigerator. It is so nice to have one that runs ALL the timeAND always makes ice. The fact it actually makes the ice ON the door is amazing! Our house is only 6 years old and from the time we walked in the door, it was broken, for one reason or another! The color is black stainless. We have already decided to replace our other appliances with LG in the same color. If they work like this new fridge, we would be stupid not too!

It's a good fridge, but in a market filled with great fridges, I don't recommend this fridge. All the major features seem solid - it's roomy, has good controls and features, etc, but it's the small things that add key distinction from other products, and even my old Samsung fridge had all these major features while not having the limitations of the "small things" this fridge is missing. And for a fridge that costs this much, there's no reason to cut costs on the small things. Small things like these: - Lack of lighting in the crisper drawers and freezer drawers (1 has a light, 1 doesn't). My old Samsung fridge has lights in all these locations. I didn't even notice these features at the time tbh, but now using this fridge that is missing them, it's a striking reduction in quality/features. - Crisper drawers are missing grabbable handles on the top. Every fridge I've ever used in my life has grabbable handles at the top, so I'm conditioned to grab there. But this fridge has them on the bottom only. No problem with having them on the bottom, but something on the top, even small handles, just something to grab. - The right crisper drawer can't open unless the left French door is open. The vertical bar that goes down the center of the fridge that is attached to the left door blocks the right crisper drawer from opening. It's annoying and counterintuitive to have to open the left fridge door in order to open the right crisper drawer. - The left fridge door is heavy b/c of the ice maker and water dispenser, and b/c of this is slams shut very hard, jostling the contents in the storage units on the door. The closing mechanism should be adjusted to make this a smoother close. Also the right fridge door doesn't close naturally on its own if the left door is open, it just bounces back and stays open. But if the left door is closed, the right one closes, albeit a little bit too hard (not as hard as the left door by far, though). Mechanisms for both doors should be adjusted. Older fridges had no problem with this and perfected the "slow close" of fridge doors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 2drawer freezer. I can locate everything easily. If I could change anything it would be the deli drawer. I would split it in two so that you could open 1 outside doir to get to items in it.

We got this about 3 weeks ago. A little early for a review on a product that should (better) last for years. Yes, it keeps things cold in the refrigerator, and yes it keeps things frozen in the freezer. Get back to me in 15 years to get an actual REVIEW!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this approximately 3 months ago and I love the space it has available. Both the refrigerator and the freezer portion have a great amount of space. My only complaint is the ice maker. I tend to use a lot of ice daily in my water and if anyone else is using it consistently throughout the day or if we have a party it can’t always keep up. It does have the Ice Plus feature which helps, but we have had to purchase bagged once or twice during the holidays when company was present. Overall, it was a great purchase and I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife loves it, during the Holidays more than ample space for sausage making and storage to my surprise....if I may make one suggestion it would be with the Control Panel, at night it is difficult to see "Cube/Water/Crushed" area without the kitchen lights being on.If they were to light up, my NEW title would be "Bases Loaded/Grand Slam Home Run"....Y'all take care.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge 8 months ago, so I've had some time to use it. I'm happy to report we haven't had any problems with it! I have plenty of space, and I'm glad I opted for the dual freezer drawers over the dual fridge drawers. The pros: lots of space, easily fit pizzas or other food in the freezer, divider in the freezer is handy, and I LOVE the container for extra ice cubes in the freezer, the fridge keeps food evenly cool (no freezing on the top, or warmth on the bottom), the door ajar alarm is a great reminder, the ice maker in the door is awesome (frees up a lot of room!). Its quiet and stylish, too! Cons: maybe this should just be considered a wish list! So, the ice maker does not make enough ice to keep up with our sports family of 6. The ice tray in the freezer to hold extra ice is handy, but the maker still has problems producing enough ice. Separate water and ice dispensers would be nice. Measuring notice for amount of water dispensed would be helpful, too. No matter how we try to "level" the appliance, the upper freezer drawer refuses to stay open on its own and is always closing. Its hard to fill up the ice holder when I'm holding the ice bucket with 2 hands and using my knee to keep the drawer open to dump the ice in. The water dispenser "drips" just a tiny bit after filling up a glass. Its not a big deal, but I hate having to wipe it up all the time so I don't get stains. All in all its a good refrigerator and I recommend it! Now I'm just hoping to get some longevity out of it! All in all, we love this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the French door model Model LMXS28626S/02 in December or 2019 and we started having problems with it in early July 2024. LG is known to have serious compressor problems and we decided to buy a new refrigerator, different brand, as we just didn't want the unknown factor in our lives. Last few weeks unit was frosting up and temperature was varying greatly. As far as the design and features of the unit, we loved it. I was very disappointed that the LG cooling system was inferior and problematic.
