We had an older side by side and if anything got put in the back of the fridge you would never find it. Not with this one plenty of room and when you open the doors you can see everything that's inside. The finish is great to clean finger prints off damp rag is all you need. Its a very large frigde plenty of room for everything. My only complaint is that it's loud when running I dont remember my 15yr old Kenmore being as loud when the fridge was running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in Oct. The surface not showing fingerprints is awesome. The doors and drawers are great except the one long drawer in the refrigerator section means you have to open both doors to open it. I wish it would be two short drawers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some issues getting it hooked up to the WiFi and my phone. The instructions and complexity need to be looked at by LG. So far so good. It looks nice and has worked well. Two more things, I wish the right door shut a little smoother. The cost of the water filter is quite ridiculous, that's a disappointment in the fact it seems like one more area to bleed money form you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this on black Friday(great savings!), I have had it in my home for about 2 weeks now, and I am absolutely in love with this unit! It is beautiful, quiet, and has great storage capabilities. Door shelves are pretty large, and are strong enough to fill (reasonably), and I love the deli tray sized slider drawer. Also the water filter has worked wonders on my previously undrinkable well water! The freezer has ample space too and I really enjoy the split (2 drawer) freezer. It allows for better organization, lets me put the more frequently used items in the (more easily accessible, less need to bend over) top drawer, and you don't have to sacrifice any freezer storage space for the convenience! In short, I could not be any happier with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 4 years ago. Everything is great except for the defrost on the lower freezer drawer. It freezes shut so when it is finally pulled open huge chuncks of ice break off.. Have called and tried all the suggested fixes-defrost, change the temperature settings, 36 degrees 37 degrees, 35 degrees, 34 degrees, 32 degrees. each time defrosting and restarting. Have been trying for over a week to activate my extended warrenty.. I have talked to so many reps(each one polite) but there is so much red tape to accomplish.. I think I finally have the necessary information-waiting to geta service appoint with my assigned claim number. I cannot call, I have to wait for a email response-waiting 4 days now.

With the ice maker in the door it gives you more space with a full top shelf. The two draw freezer is great, we store freezer items uses the most in the top for quick and easy access. And a very easy on door control panel. Would recommend very highly.

This is due to size of course and the smart design of racks, drawers and shelves within. I am a little concerned with the ice maker section. I have been having problems with the ice melting together in the bin. Am currently trying different temperatures to solve the problem. Like the two freezer drawer feature.

The wide shelves are so convenient and I never realized how I needed those deep door shelves. I really appreciate the door alarm as I usually don’t know that the door hasn’t closed fully. It was a great purchase. I’ve even sent pictures to friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Condensation on door when new which was resolved. Also had ice build up along top edge of bottom freezer drawer but that seems to have resolved. Left door slams really hard, even if I just let it drift shut. Very loud and rocks the whole unit. I was told this is due to the ice maker in the door but I have found no other refrigerator with the ice maker in the door that does this, including my friends with the exact same frig. Makes very little ice. Four glasses at dinner and we're out...total joke if we have a party. We need to make ice ahead and stock up.
