Love this Frig !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this LG just 3 weeks ago and we love the looks, the sturdy construction and all the features. The Black Stainless Steel color is gorgeous and we especially love the two freezer drawers. Frozen items we use daily in the top drawer and items we use once in awhile in the bottom freezer drawer. The Ice maker is great in the refrigerator door which leaves more room in the frig. shelf area for food. The day it was installed we ran 3-4 gallons of water through the water filter and we have let the Ice Maker make 4 full containers of ice. The Ice and the filtered Water right out of the Ice and Water Dispenser is fantastic. Next, a new LG gas Range in Black Stainless Steel. Thanks LG for making a great looking and very practical 4 drawer Refrigerator!

Compressor died after 2 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful fridge but that’s about all it has going for it. The compressor died after 2 years. LG replaced it with the same kind of compressor so my expectation is that I will have to purchase another fridge in about 2 years. The water dispenser drips water. The ice maker causes ice to buildup around the seal of the ice maker door also causing water to leak out. This thing is a disaster. I hate it. Do not buy.

SOOOO happy!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this unit 7 months ago. Very happy with performance and the features. It is very quiet not like others appliances I owned. The smaller ice dispenser is great for not taking up the needed space in the interior. Its smaller size is not a problem have never ran out of ice. The water filter and air filter is very easy to replace. The black stainless exterior is very easy to keep clean.

Great Refrigerator, reasonable price

So much space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our LG fridge over a year. The amount of things we can fit in it are amazing. We have a family of 5 and are constantly buying food. The bottom fridge drawer is perfect for little hands to reach snack. The fruit and veggie drawers capacity is great! The adjustable self has been handy. My only issue is every now and again it makes a whistling/gear sound. Ready through the manual it says its when the fridge is too full and there isnt enough air to circulate through. I usually end up moving things around and it stops.

Roomy appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator in July after researching many different appliances. It was the perfect refrigerator. Lots of room and easy to store fruit and vegetables. Sadly the coolant in the freezer was not working and after several attempts to repair the refrigerator it was deemed defective. Finding a repair person to work on this unit was challenging. LG made good and refunded us the price of the unit. Much as I love this refrigerator I am leery to replace it with the same type. I realize it could just be a "lemon" and another one could be perfectly fine.

Poorly built refrigerator

I bought this model 6 moths ago, and so far we had the ice maker replaced twice, the motherboard replaced once. The compressor and cooling coil were replaced just last. Now the refrigerator is not cooling properly. This simply very, very poorly built and it is sham as it's very poor quality product. Think 10 times before buying this model

Stay away from LG appliances

Owned 2 LG French door refrigerators. On both of them Compressor failed 2 times and lost food. Not worth spending money to repair, though parts under warranty. Not sure how long will last after the repair. Own LG washer, dryer, gas stove, OTC microwave and dishwasher - all had issues once the parts warranty period ends. Stay away LG appliances.

Compressor died after 26 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing looks great inside and out. It operates okay, a little frost builds up on the edge of the bottom drawer which is not ideal. BUT the compressor died after 2 years... Estimated 600 dollars to repair (with the part covered under warrenty) and with the same compressor so I expect we will be down this road in another 2 years... I would avoid this fridge.
