The stainless steel is stunning and accents my kitchen countertops and other appliances beautifully. I adore the four French-door model. The refrigerator section accommodates all foods and beverages very nicely; the produce/meat/deli drawers are very spacious and well organized. The Open – door alarm is at a comfortable volume and not annoying. The ice/water dispenser in the door works perfectly and is not as loud as other dispensers. this refrigerator is awesome. I can not put into words how impressed I am. the design and features are top-notch and not confusing. you get a very impressive refrigerator without the huge price tag new ones come with all because there is a tablet built-in. being stainless steel remember it is not magnetic but the sides are so you can still hang your kid's school calendar or family pictures up.

This month the refrigerator stopped cooling and the compressor went out. Both were under warrant. We lost food this time and the first time a rug due to water.

Twice in four years, this is a piece of junk LG products are garbage. Will never buy another of your products again

It's a good fridge, but in a market filled with great fridges, I don't recommend this fridge. All the major features seem solid - it's roomy, has good controls and features, etc, but it's the small things that add key distinction from other products, and even my old Samsung fridge had all these major features while not having the limitations of the "small things" this fridge is missing. And for a fridge that costs this much, there's no reason to cut costs on the small things. Small things like these: - Lack of lighting in the crisper drawers and freezer drawers (1 has a light, 1 doesn't). My old Samsung fridge has lights in all these locations. I didn't even notice these features at the time tbh, but now using this fridge that is missing them, it's a striking reduction in quality/features. - Crisper drawers are missing grabbable handles on the top. Every fridge I've ever used in my life has grabbable handles at the top, so I'm conditioned to grab there. But this fridge has them on the bottom only. No problem with having them on the bottom, but something on the top, even small handles, just something to grab. - The right crisper drawer can't open unless the left French door is open. The vertical bar that goes down the center of the fridge that is attached to the left door blocks the right crisper drawer from opening. It's annoying and counterintuitive to have to open the left fridge door in order to open the right crisper drawer. - The left fridge door is heavy b/c of the ice maker and water dispenser, and b/c of this is slams shut very hard, jostling the contents in the storage units on the door. The closing mechanism should be adjusted to make this a smoother close. Also the right fridge door doesn't close naturally on its own if the left door is open, it just bounces back and stays open. But if the left door is closed, the right one closes, albeit a little bit too hard (not as hard as the left door by far, though). Mechanisms for both doors should be adjusted. Older fridges had no problem with this and perfected the "slow close" of fridge doors.

Love this LG French door with double freezer compartments. Plenty of space, good cooling in fridge and in the doors. The 2 drawer freezer compartments make organizing and finding an item easy! Use the water and ice maker located on the outside door daily. Since ice compartment collects ice on the inside of the door it frees up more space, although sometimes the ice buildup jams and I have to shake the reserve container to keep ice flowing. The water filter is good for 6 months and works great for pure clean water. There is a built in air filter and my refrigerator continues to stay fresh from odors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed with the quality of this refrigerator. Within just two years, it failed to maintain appropriate freezing and cooling levels. I had to replace the compressor, but even after that, it only functioned properly for less than a year. The freezer consistently struggled to keep items sufficiently frozen. I found myself having to frequently unplug and replug the unit to reset it. Overall, not a satisfactory experience.

I bought this model 6 moths ago, and so far we had the ice maker replaced twice, the motherboard replaced once. The compressor and cooling coil were replaced just last. Now the refrigerator is not cooling properly. This simply very, very poorly built and it is sham as it's very poor quality product. Think 10 times before buying this model

I bought this refrigerator in 2018. It had all the bells and whistles I needed. I was very happy with the product until it required periodic maintenance. You must change the air and water filter every six months. To my suprise, I discovered that the water filters that are recommended in my owner's manual do not fit the refrigerator. I found this distressing because they're very expensive and I don't like wasting my hard earned money. Fortunately, there are several vendors who sell replacement water filters that actually fit this model and work.
