I bought this refrigerator and loved the freezer drawers, etc. After two years, the ice machine stopped functioning. After just less than 5 years, the compressor dies. I had a lot of food that had to be thrown out because it was more than a week before it could be fixed. Fortunately, it was just before the expiration of the warranty; so, I did not have to pay for the repair. I really like the model; I just wish it didn't break down.

We had an older side by side and if anything got put in the back of the fridge you would never find it. Not with this one plenty of room and when you open the doors you can see everything that's inside. The finish is great to clean finger prints off damp rag is all you need. Its a very large frigde plenty of room for everything. My only complaint is that it's loud when running I dont remember my 15yr old Kenmore being as loud when the fridge was running.

I had to remove a cabinet above the refrigerator to make it fit and am so glad I did! The amount of room I have with this model is amazing and I love the 2 freezer compartments.

Bought this in June 2018 and the compressor went out. After doing some research online, I found several people with the same issue. LG is aware of this issue but when you call customer service they immediately tell you it is out of warranty. They have actually extended it 5 years due to the faulty compressor but will not tell customers. I cannot get anyone to return my calls. I am now 4 days without a refrigerator and I had to throw away hundreds of dollars of food. I am beyond angry at this point and will never buy another LG product again based not only on their bad product but their equally bad customer service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love love love all the storage compartments. All others had normal size shelves on right and very very shallow ones on left. These shelves on right side are much deeper than all others(can fit much more than milk and juice) and on left where all others are way way way too narrow and shallow Maybe could fit a pack of shredded cheese and that’s all. This one holds condiments ketchup etc. Also like the smaller square ice cubes. Much easier to fill water bottle. Most cubes go in bottle and not scattered on floor. Trying to find something in a regular freezer side by side. These freezer drawers are perfect to keep food organized and easy to find

Owned this fridge for just under 5 years and now it needs repairs that cost more than what I paid for it. LG was sued in a class action law suit, many linear compressor models were included, but unfortunately not this one. So out of warranty and no recourse. AVOID LG LINEAR COMPRESSOR REFRIGERATORS.

The Black Stainless Steel color is gorgeous and we especially love the two freezer drawers. Frozen items we use daily in the top drawer and items we use once in awhile in the bottom freezer drawer. The Ice maker is great in the refrigerator door which leaves more room in the frig. shelf area for food. The day it was installed we ran 3-4 gallons of water through the water filter and we have let the Ice Maker make 4 full containers of ice. The Ice and the filtered Water right out of the Ice and Water Dispenser is fantastic. Next, a new LG gas Range in Black Stainless Steel. Thanks LG for making a great looking and very practical 4 drawer Refrigerator!

This is the most wonderful refrigerator I have ever had. With the freezer on the bottom, the top doors open wide allowing very large things to go in. The two freezer drawers make dividing meat from other things I freeze easy. If I ever have to buy another refrigerator, I will buy this again.

we bought a french door refrigerator approximately two months ago. we are happy with it, but we do have suggestions: 1> the ice/water dispenser should have a funnel/cover to prevent ice from dropping on the floor. 2> the ice/water dispenser should have something to catch any ice particles that fall inside the ice/water dispenser. 3> both doors should be self closing. 4> both doors should be slow close: they should not slam. 5> the bolts that fasten the doors to refrigerator body should be covered to give the interior a more finished appearance.
