Horrible Refrigerator! Don't waste $$$ on LG.

I actually bought mine a few years ago. It either froze everything or barely cooled within the first 2 years. It has been "repaired" so many times and now just stopped working completely. With the price we pay these should last more than a few years.

Issues

Horrible refrigerator - water was pouring out over night and flooded our entire house leaking into the finished basement and garage. Pulled it out and the condenser was extremely hot. No longer cools at all.

Cooling fan motor started making an awful noise at 1 year and a half. The fan is done. I should have read the reviews before purchasing - currently regretting this expensive purchase!!

Nice Fridge, Bad customer service

I love the look of refrigerator, but the ice maker doesn’t put out much ice. The reason why I gave a 2-star rating is be because of LG’s customer service. My refrigerator was delivered a month ago with damages to the freezer drawers. The delivery guys told me to contact LG. I went into LG’s website, registered my product and requested a repair for the damages on the same day. Never received a response. SAMs contacted them several times, but the issue was never resolved. Now I’m being told there is nothing they can do because I didn’t contact the within the 48-hour period. Will not be buying another LG product. Thank you so much SAMs customer service for your assistance with this issue.

Spent way more time broke than working

We purchased this refrigerator and it never cooled correctly from the time it was delivered. Extended warranty is no help as it is still under the mfrs warranty. They have tried two times to fix and failed and now we are awaiting several parts for the third fix and they are on backorder with no idea of when they will be delivered. They will not call it unrepairable and refund us or give us a new refrigerator even though they obviously can't repair it. We love the features and would love the refrigerator if it would only work. There is lots of room and a great layout and the drawer is awesome but we are totally relying on the $229 mini refrigerator which works like a champ while this expensive unit sits totally not working. Literally this has only worked a few weeks in total and that was just until it leaked again evidently as we have another CH E error. Maybe we got the lemon but I would think they would stand behind a new expensive product that did not work from the beginning and they have had two chances to fix and now we have the same issue again.
