This is a well designed refrigerator with excellent features and layout. The duo freezer doors are a huge advantage over singles as it eliminates the need to dig down through multiple layers of items to find what you're looking for. It allows for much better organization. The in-door ice maker is also nice. It frees up space and consequently the refrigerated section is roomier than our previous 27cu ft unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited when we purchased this fridge (and for the first few days) until we realized the ice capacity - or lack there of! The indoor compartment only can hold (max-using the “ice plus” feature) 8 16oz glasses and takes 12 hours to refill. I read the manual and it “suggests” using the “extra tray bin” located in the freezer drawer... BUT what’s the point on having a dispenser if I have to use the bin. I must point out too, that we bought this BECAUSE the fridge we were replacing had a broken ice dispenser. So.... if you don’t care about having ice, this refrigerator is for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator!! There is so much room in there and the lighting is great! It looks good too! The only complaint I have is that sometimes the right side door (not the one with the ice maker in it). Makes a rattling noise. I’ve looked to make sure what I had in the doors wasn’t rubbing against each other and it’s not. When I press the door it stops until I take my hand away. It doesn’t do it constantly either so for now I can live with it. We have a deep freeze so freezer space is not a problem for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in 2018. It's been a great fridge, but the fridge doors don't seal properly. Because they are french doors, there is a piece that swivels and seals the door, which is supposed to be automatic, but it gets stuck so I have to reach in and close it with my hand every time I shut the doors. Our compressor recently went out and LG replaced it because it was under the 5 year warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent for our Kitchen and we love the 2 freezer drawers that are easy to access and use; lots of room and well designed.. There is not a great deal of ice capacity, but that seems to be the case with all of the fridge door Ice makers currently. We go through a lot of ice since we live in Florida; this is the only weakness I can say.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given a 5 star but this frig did not come with a ice maker hook up hose and I had to make a extra trip to pu. Since I live in the sticks it was wasted time. Everything else is good with frig and really like the printproof stainless steel.

Our last refrigerator lasted 16 years and it was a side by side. We had been wanting a French door refrigerator but weren't sure about issues we had heard about with the ice maker in the door. After talking with our salesman and a repair man we decided on this LG refrigerator. It is quiet and has lots of room. My only reason for giving it the 4 stars is that the ice maker has a small reservoir meaning fewer ice cubes. We tend to go through a lot of ice and water in our house. Not a huge issue, we just need to remember to dump the ice maker ice into the storage container in the freezer when we have extra so that we can continue to generate more ice for our family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my 3rd replacement refrigerator and even that didn't work properly from the beginning. We initially couldn't get ice and the refrigerator made odd noises and the interior light kept blinking. At the end of 2 weeks, the freezer was no longer working and the whole refrigerator was about to die. A new brain had to be installed and now it is functioning properly.

I have loved it for the most part. It is quiet, keeps things at a steady temperature and is efficient. However I was disappointed that the part the water purifier connects to broke so easily within 7 months from when I got the refrigerator. However the man who came to replace it was friendly and knew what he was doing. It was fixed within 30 minutes.

We can see everything at once and nothing gets hidden. Lighting is super. Also we are very happy with the slate black exterior. Overall a very good product so far.
