Great features!

I bought this after hurricane Laura and Delta. It stayed in the box until the ice storm of 2021. loved the feature of just pushing a button to crank it. It chokes it and everything with one push of the button. Hurricane season will be back soon. Hope we don’t need it but will be happy we have it

Started Right Up ; Does NOT Include Power Cord

Just bought this last week and charged battery overnight last night and started up this morning. Fob has to be paired to generator to start (unless you want to start manually with pull cord). Pairing process was easy and it started right up. However, the one negative is that you really can't start it remotely as I'd imagined because you have to turn on the gas cutoff to "On" and you have to turn the power switch on, so really no point in having a fob to start it with when you have to go out anyway to do these steps. Also, power cord does not come with it so you will have to purchase one before you can actually use it.

can supply enough power for my entire house

The only improvement would be to make on 4 wheels Its pretty heavy and a little awkward dragging it any distance.I have about a 2200 sq ft house ,pump my water,pump-up septic ,electric hot water heater. It handles the whole house with a little strain sometimes. You just have to be a little mindful not to use heavy load items at the same time.Perfect for the price!

A Well Thought Out & Fully Featured Portable Gener

After spending hours researching available generators in this output capacity, including talking to service centers to see what models they had fewest repairs on, I went with the Westinghouse WGen9500. I installed a 50 amp plug with a 60 amp breaker and made up a 30' dual 50 amp male plug cable. I also added a receptical for the battery tender and the little garage compressor. After a few minutes installing the wheels, rubber feet, adding oil, 93 octane fuel, and plugging in the battery tender for a few minutes (battery came right up to storage mode) I wheeled it outside to start it up. It hardly turned over before starting and settled down to a steady rpm. I checked output and it's spot on. I doubt you can find a better generator for a price even close to this unit.

Went through Hurricane Milton!

We purchased this in the springtime based on the reviews of the product. We went through a dry run and let it operate for about an hour with all of our electric service turned off. I hard wired this into a plug to our load center with his own dedicated circuit breaker. We have a typical 2000 square foot home with a 3 1/2 ton air conditioner, and this generator ran everything except the water heater, dryer, and stove. Our air conditioner only draws 13.8 amps on startup. And this generator didn't even cough when it came on. We're running about a gallon of gasoline for every two hours based on our usage. The first three days we had no electricity and we ran a generator for 10 hours.

Westinghouse Generator 9500

Aside from having to put on the wheels, adding oil and hooking up the battery, the generator was ready for use. Started up on the first try, powered a clock that I was using to test it and I have run it now for about an hour with no problem. A great product.

Outstanding Generator

The Generator arrived at my residence as advertised. Everything was included for easy set up. Once the generator was set up, it fired up with a push of a button. That electric start is outstanding. I am very pleased with the remote start key fob and the included battery charger. Outstanding value, very pleased with my purchase.

Solid on first use

On first use, it seems to be a really solid unit. I filled it up with gas and oil, moved the choke to cold start and pushed the start button....2 cranks later, yes it continues to run the start cycle until it starts, it fired right up. I ran it for 6hrs and not a hiccup. Will see how durable it is long term, no reason at first glance to doubt it, but a very nice generator for the money.

Well Built Generator

This generator came packaged nicely which kept it safe during delivery. This was very simple to put together with very minimal assembly. The generator came with very clear instructions and a manual. I am impressed with all the features this generator has. It has a very sharp look to it, not that it matters, but definitely worth noting. I followed the directions and it started up right away. I am very happy with this purchase!

Looks and works awesome!

Just got this beautiful, powerful portable generator, for emergency backup incase of a power outage. A month ago our power went out for three days and we had to borrow a generator. It was an 8k generator and it kept up pretty good. After the power came back on we decided to purchase one ourselves. we chose the Westinghouse 9500 because it is reliable, powerful enough for our needs, and it looks good too.
