I just moved to Florida and wanted a reliable, high watt output for running essentials plus during hurricane season. This generator had great reviews; features such as electric start (a must for wife) also remote start/stop, automatic (or manual if needed) choke, 30 and 50 amp hook ups and a built in battery test / charge plug. I put the supplied oil in and some gas in it and it started with remote on the first crank. I'm happy with what I have seen so far. Hurricane season will tell me more.

Received the generator when scheduled. My husband put on the wheels, added oil and gas. Started right up. Then we used the key fob to start it. Worked like a charm. Bought it to use for emergency home power outages. We just got it so time will tell. So far so good. That's the only reason I can't give it 5 stars.

Minimal assembly required. I added the oil, some gas, and it fired right up first push of the START button. I am surprised at all the features of this model for the price, for example: remote start and CO detector/shut off. It is well designed and well made. It runs with less vibration and is a bit quieter than I expected.

We bought this Generator because we knew that it's better to 'stay ready than having to get ready" in cast of power outage. I read the instructions and was able to operate the Generator. This generator ran our whole modest home!!! THIS WAS A EXCELLENT GENERATOR AND I RECOMMEND IT!

What a great machine! The first glance build quality is nice from the push button start to the really nice molded outlet covers. Small amount of assembly but it took a whole 3 min to assemble which is great for anyone to do. Put oil in plugged in battery and took off immediately. My only complaint is I wish there was some sort of on board compartment to store the battery recharge cord.....in a lot of cases this will get misplaced or thrown away because you forgot what it was for and dont need it so Westinghouse please install a little storage box somewhere that the charge cord and spark plug wrench can be with machine at all times. Little part of me wants to lose power so I can use it and now able to power our well pump. Thank you!

Bought this generator to provide power after big storms. It arrived in good condition and was easy to unpack. The instructions for setting it up were easy to follow. The unit started easily and runs nicely. Running noise level is good but not great. The unit is easy to move around using the attached handle. Overall, very pleased with the purchase.

Just set up today and works good so far. one issue is the 50 amp outlet at the generator. The 50amp cord, when plugged in, is problematic to keep a safe connection because of the wheel located right under the outlet connection. You've got to manipulate the very heavy duty cord to be sure the plug stays in. Maybe some cords work better....The design could use some improvement on the operation side. 3 stars are not accurate for the full operating success, but I hope it's a 5 star when the power is out.

Bought this in prep. for hurricane season. Unit came 99% ready to go - putting on the wheels and feet were a breeze! So far, I have only done the initial start up, but was able to plug it into my 220V, and do a "dry run" of it. It was able to power up one of my central A/C units with no problem (the smaller of the two), and I also hooked up some of my essentials (fridges, t.v., a few lights/power outlets). The noise isnt as bad as I thought it would be. At this running wattage - it is what it is. This this looks like it will easily handle any hurricane that comes our way - and I am not expecting us to be out cold for a week, here in Texas again, like we were earlier this year!

My WGEN9500 was purchased online on Monday they delivered it on Friday. Easy set up came with oil, wrenches, wheels, and battery. Starts 3 ways all started the generator with no problem! Has lots of handy features plus a very generous warranty program of 3 years motor and gen. Well worth the money!!!

I purchased this item after much research into generators. It seems like every time we get a storm lately the power goes out. I have a well so that means I lose water along with everything else. I am having a 50amp plug installed and a switch so that I can run my whole house. No more worries about power going out.
