I bought this generator a few weeks ago after reading reviews and over ratings of portable whole house generators. So far I'd agree with the unit being highly rated. It was relatively easy to attach the included items to complete the setup after unpacking it and it started instantly with a push of a button. Although I have yet to use it's full potential, the generator looks very well made and I feel confident that it will work as necessary after the 5 hour break-in period.

Never had a generator before. At first I was intimidated by the sophisticated equipment. Found it surprisingly easy to get ready to use. It came basically ready to go out of the box. Started right up. Remote start is nice feature. Was surprised that sound of generator running was much quieter than I expected. Very pleased thus far.

Purchased 1-28-2023, I’m hooked up on a 50amp circuit. It’s enough to power my whole house and my garage. Best of all, I love the duel fuel option. It’s full of gas and I currently have 2 five gallon propane tanks so I’ll always be ready to put my power back on with a flip of a switch!

I bought this to power my house and I think it will. The Quality of the generator is excellent. The remote start is one of the reasons I went with this model as well as the 50amp outlet. It is not as loud as other generators with less wattage. The box the thing comes in is very flimsy cardboard and my frame was actually damaged. Along with a slightly bent wheel mount. Overall I love the generator.

Knew I wanted a Westinghouse as I have owned a smaller inverter unit and loved it. Went to 3 different stores to find it and have no regrets. This thing works perfect and has all the outlets I need for my purposes (work and home use). Also really appreciate the remote start feature.

I purchased the WGEN 9500 on 10/05/20. I had an electrician install a transfer switch & outlet. We tested the generator and selected circuits to run off the generator. The test was successful....I am ready for the winter season in Massachusetts and probable outages. The generator is of High Quality, started right up. Well built

Im happy with this generator, only had some issues when the spring and rod fell off from the carburator, was able to fix it myself but since it is brand new, I was disappointed that I had to fix it so soon right after I heard that the engine wasnt running the way it suppose to.Happy with the generator

I bought the WGen9500 to replace an underpowered Generac. The 3,000 extra watt's will allow me to now power my water heater, in addition to the other home items this backup generator is meant for. The generator arrived well packaged and damage-free. Oil was fully drained, making it easier to attach the mounting feet. Total install time for feet and wheels was 10 minutes. Attaching the cables to the included battery was easy, although the positive cable needs to be looped slightly in order not to stick straight out from the generator. A short charge of the battery, adding the included oil and some gas and the generator was ready to start. The push-start is great (coming from manual, pull-only). Press and wait. The generator will go through it's start cycle, and within a few cranks the fuel was flowing and it was running clean and well throttled. Have run the generator for an hour and put it to the task of powering the home (through dedicated transfer switch) and the power was clean, generator ran smoothly under load. Very happy with this new purchase, feel comfortable with a 3-year warranty backing it (which I hope not to need). The included maintenance schedule will be useful and followed, so hoping for years of service (or not needing it) from this solidly built generator.

I bought this generator in January of 2021. I needed it twice since then, the first time no issues at all, the second time I couldn't get it to start. It could be me but when trying to start it the battery died.... when it did work it did power up my entire home. Guess I need to read up on keeping this item at the ready for when it's needed.

Just received this generator and I am impressed with how easily it is to unpack, set up, and test run. Great labeling to help operation, and the owners manual is full of helpful info including electrical schematics, parts list, and troubleshooting instructions.
