I purchased a 9500 watt generator as an emergency backup and waiting to install a transfer switch for safer use. However already fired it up and it’s extremely easy to operate and works flawlessly. They even sent first quart of oil. Unit is noticeably quieter than other ones I’ve used in the past. Game changer!!!

I bought the Westinghouse Generator about a month ago and it has worked great. Assembly was easy and it came with a tool to help with assembly. I have not run it under full load but so far it works great. being able to use different fuels (liquid or natural gas) it really easy and will be a help if extended use is nessary.

I am very impressed with the initial quality of this generator. This model has a lot of features and power for the money. I read numerous reviews before I purchased this brand. I am very pleased that this generator is quieter than my previous generator. The Smart Switch was also an added feature that I wasn't looking for but may end up using. I strongly recommend this product.

After researching many generator brands and features, I purchased the Westinghouse wgen9500. I received it this morning. I unboxed it, installed the feet, wheels, and added the oil and gasoline, it started immediately. Runs quietly for this size generator. I highly recommend this product!

I bought this in anticipation of needing it for a storm power outage. Haven’t had the chance to use it like that yet. I have an all electric house so when we’re out, we are out! This isn’t big enough to run everything but will run enough to keep us going until power is restored. I had ordered this online and had it dropped at the store where I picked it up. It weighs close to 300 lbs so it was a beast to get from the van to the ground. I wound up cutting the box off of it and put the wheels and feet on it which was very easy. With the wheels, my 11 year old can move it around no problem in spite of its weight. Added the oil, gas, and installed the battery and it fired right up. It has 3 ways to start and all 3 worked right away. I am not looking forward to the power outage but if it happens, I feel prepared.

I ordered this right after the major snowstorm in Feb. 2021. The generator arrived on March 10, 2021. It was packed securely and no damage in shipment. I followed the instructions, added the included oil and hit the start button. Nothing! The battery was dead. So, I manually started it. It started on the second pull. I ran it for over an hour and tried to start the generator with the battery. No joy! I put the battery on my battery charger for a while. Reinstalled it in the generator and no joy again. Bad battery. Generator is great! Battery is bad!

I had the generator delivered and the driver told me he bought the same unit and was really happy with his unit. Quiet running is one of the features I was looking for because where I have to set the unit when in operation. One thing that should be changed is the battery hookup to a charger. the wires are wrong coming from the battery. it is backwards when hooking up to a trikle charger.

We live in Florida right near the coast and this will be a blessing when the Hurricanes hit and we loose power. I followed the simple instructions for gas & oil, I put the wheels on and started the generator 30 minutes after it was delivered. I checked all the connections and everything works perfectly.

I owned a Generac for 20 years in Florida. This generator has many features better than my old one. Handle is excellent idea and packaging and instructions we very well put together. Also Generac does not have a model close in size with a 50 amp plug. Unit started as said after holding start button for 2 seconds.

Received this 2 nights ago. Set it up yesterday, very easy process. Once oil and fuel added, pushed the start button and within a couple of seconds it was running smoothly. Did have a dent in frame, probably happened during shipping. Box was not in good condition. Does not effect operation, but is disappointing to have received it this way.
