My first experience with Westinghouse. So far, I am impressed. Easy Set-Up. I followed the easy directions to fill fluids, connect the battery, learn the specs, etc.. The key fob was already factory paired, because the directions to do so seamed a bit confusing at first glance. The choke appears to be automatic, but labored to adjust during initial start. I turned the generator off and restarted, resolving the issue. The key fob starter is awesome; worked perfectly out of the box. One suggestion is to relocate the battery connection as it partially obstructs access to the oil dip-stick port. Overall score out of the box: 10. The true test, of course, will be the next big storm. Stay tuned...

We just purchased this generator. It was delivered to us in a timely fashion. What a pleasure when we got it all set up in it's new home and it started right up! We have installed a transfer switch in the house and tested everything. Happy to report everything is functioning quite nicely!

I bought the WGen9500 Model just over a month ago. What a great buy!!! The unit was easy to setup, and has lots of great features including a remote start. Just installed the wheels, added the oil which was also included, poured in some gas, and it started right up on the first try!!! With the power this unit can provide, we will be able to run all essentials in our house during any future power outages. Very happy with this purchase!!!

I bought this thing a year and a half ago and its already stopped working. The electric start doesn't work at all and with the manual start it runs for 15 seconds. I have only ran it for maintenance every other month or so. Fortunately I have not had the need for it yet. I put in a ticket with Westinghouse a couple of months ago of course they tell me that its out of warranty. Something like a generator should last longer than a year and a half, especially if it hasnt really had to handle anything.

I just received the WG9500. I was most pleased with how simple the assembly was. I can't say I look forward to using it as it is during terrible hurricanes, but am most confident that it will take care of me and my family whenever the situation arises.

The WGen9500 is easy to start even with the pull cord. I pulled it slowly to make sure everything was freed up and then the first quick pull it started right up. The generator is the perfect setup with the many different outlets and a 50 amp plugin. The remote start is a great addition for older folks. I bought this to replace our older Generac generator that has served us well through all of the hurricanes since 1996. The WGen9500 has the features I wish our Generac had with more power to boot. We decided on another portable generator instead of a standby unit due to flooding potential in our area. I have been running it each week to exercise it and make sure it's ready with all of the hurricanes we have had this year. It never struggles to start and is perfect for our needs!

Bought couple months ago as a lesson in how to survive a hurricane! We’ve used sparingly but have had great experience. Quick start, easy directions and awesome lower pitch sound than most items of this size. Pretty sure it’s going to give us great service!

I did some research before buying this generator. Living in the woods of Maine, it's a certainty we will lose power a few times over the winter, sometimes for days. This generator powers my whole house, including well water pump, so I feel much more secure as winter approaches. Well built. All the features I need, including remote electric start, and quieter running. Very happy with my Westinghouse generator.

I bought this just recently after doing several comparisons and after speaking with and electrician who also recommended the Westinghouse generators. This machine is full of excellent features and although it's compact, everything you might need to get at to service is easily accessible. I was very impressed with the manual that came with it. It's well written and well laid out, something you don't come across too much these days. I bought this powerhouse because it will run my entire house, including my AC, although naturally I will be prudent about too many appliances starting up at once. I was also impressed that Westinghouse put the support phone number right there on the machine!
