I have had this generator for about two months now. I haven't had to use it for an extended amount of time but I usually start it on a weekly basis and let it run for a few minutes. It has started up every time without an incident! I really like the features it has but I have not had a chance to use all of them for adequate commentary. The one thing that I do not like is the fuel gauge. You have to fill up the tank almost full for it to register and it doesn't seem to be accurate. Overall I am quite pleased with this product!

Bought a 6500 right before the Texas freeze. Assembled out of box at night when my other generator quit. Was assembled and working in less than 30 minutes at near zero temp. Very easy to use. Sold that to my son and bought the 9500 for whole house.

The generator was well packaged and arrived with no damage to either the carton or the generator. The wheels and legs were easy to attach and adding the oil was also easy. I made the battery connection and the generator turned over on the first try. The FOB remote worked just as well. After putting fuel in the tank and remembering to turn the fuel shutoff valve to the on position, the generator started on the second time it turned over. The electrical output was excellent. The only thing about the generator I do not understand is it is rated at 9500 running watts and one outlet is a 50-amp. This would equal 120 volts x 50 amps = 6000 watts. I asked if the 30-amp and 50-amp outlets could be used at the same time and was told no. I do not know how to get the full 9500 running watts out of the unit.

purchased generator a week ago,its pretty quiet easy operation,back fired 1 time when starting up,wish there was no co2 sensor,believe its going to be a problem,i operate a food truck with close range space.seem like its well built,will know much better in the months to come.

I bought this a month and 1/2 ago because of the power it can provide us in running extra items it can run during power outages. We're in CA. and in a designated power shut down are due to high winds and general fire danger. The blackouts are projected to run up to five days. We feel more secure with the power backup.

Just finished the break in period and it’s worked as advertised. It’s only use will be backup power to our home. During the break in period it handled the loads it was bought for with power to spare. The remote start is a nice feature and will come in handy if my family has to get it started.

I did much research before I made this purchase, and I am glad I did. I bought this generator to power my whole house, which it easily does. I had an electrician come in and wire everything and he even commented on the great product this generator is. Once he was done with his work, we tested the generator. I was very happy with the outcome. It was what I had expected and more. The features are great as well. The 30 and 50 amp plugs are perfect. The USB ports are a bonus. the push button start with a remote also means I can get this generator warmed up and ready before I have to go out on a cold winter day. It even comes with a battery trickle charger. Westinghouse thought of everything. If you are searching for a generator, here it is. I would recommend this product to everyone looking for a portable generator

We're new to Florida and are preparing for hurricane season...and a generator is a must. We were looking for a generator that would power at least 2 refrigerators and a portable ac unit. This one is easy to start, easy to use, relatively quiet and is surprisingly easy to manuever. The remote key fob was a great surprise also!

I purchased this for the upcoming hurricane season, as my old generator was on the outs. Wanted something it bit more powerful. After doing some searching online decided this was the one. We just went though Hurricane Debbie this past week and the generator worked perfectly, had everything up and running in a few minutes, with no issues. The electric start usiong the key fob was outstanding. Overall would give the generator a 5 star rating.

I purchased this generator a while back and have not had a need to turn it on yet because I bought it for in case of hurricane. We are under a hurricane watch right now so we started it for the first time and it seems to work like a charm! The remote start works and turning off the generator, but it does not turn the generator on. However, I am going to consult the manual again to see if we’re doing something wrong.
