I live in Florida,and have many power outages. Sometimes for 10 days at a time due to weather. So I purchased two wgen9500's. My AC guy and my electrition said it would not power my 4ton AC. I had the electrition hook it up and we ran my AC,2 refrigerators, lights, well pump,TV's, also turned hot water heater on ,but not sure if it needed to run at the time. Just purchased this generator. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised to see that this generator was somewhat small and lightweight being a 9500 running watt. I assembled the generator and added oil. Fired right up with the remote start. This will be great for my fiancé who would not be able to start the generator otherwise. It also has so automatic choke; so no need to worry about that. I would say this generator is about as close as you can get to a whole house unit and still has the option of being portable. Highly recommend. I am also an E-2 electrician. Side note...ran my dryer no problem through my 30amp transfer switch. Just wouldn't recommend running anything along side it.

Bought this generator after researching others on the market and the price, features and power were too good to pass up. Have only run for about an hour to test it out but no issues so far. This generator has plenty of power for a home backup. I haven't tried the key fob but it's a nice feature I guess. It is considerably loud so take that into account if your live close to neighbors. Would rate it 5 stars if I had more time to see long term performance.

I received this generator from citizens in and near my city, WPB. I have a Special Needs Daughter and we need to run a lot of equipment for her. We wanted the generator so that we didn't have to run to the hospital during power outages or small storms. We are blessed with this generator. Thank you.

Received the generator a couple days ago and it started right up after making sure all the oil levels and battery were good. I cant wait to convert it to natural gas/Propane so that I can use a cleaner source of fuel. This generator will last me for years to come and will power everything I need and more for my little one story home.

I did a lot of research on what brand generator I will buy. After weeks of researching, I end up buying the westinghouse 9500. I used the 50amp to power my whole house of 2600sq. The best part of this generator is the key fob. I will post a review again in 6months.

I really like the remote start - so easy to use at a distance. Would be nicer if we have a light that told us wait for start as there is a bit of a delay and we would know working on it, but it's much nicer than having to go out in the rain/weather and pull start. :)

I purchased this generator about a month ago after doing quite a bit of research and looking at the many positive customer reviews. Very happy with the purchase!!! Setup was super easy, instruction manuals are detailed and easy to read through, and startup/break in is a breeze. Start methods are great giving the user the option to start with traditional pull/recoil start, push button start, or even a remote start via key fob! This generator is quiet enough that it won’t disturb neighbors and I barely hear it running from inside the house. Has plenty of power to run everything I need it to in my house during an outage and then some (almost don’t even know the power is out!). Well done on this one Westinghouse, will be recommending your generators to everyone I know.

Have this set-up to attach to a power-inlet on my home for charging the breaker box. Assembly was easy with just a mounting of the wheels. Was delivered with out incident via freight truck. Not to heavy for one person to roll to the hookup location. Starts fast, runs strong, powers needed circuits. I am very pleased with this purchase and am ready for the hurricanes that I hope never come.

It powers most of my house including my central AC unit. Use it as a home back up power source and it didn’t disappoint. Best investment you will make for peace of mind and at a good value. It won’t break your pocket and it will deliver more power than most out there at a cheaper price.
