I purchased this generator prior to hurricane season in case with loss power. Hurricane Ida hit our area and we lost power for 10 days. WGen9500 operated my entire 3000 square house except central air conditioning units with no problems. It ran continuously with no issues. I would highly recommend this unit.

I bought this unit as a backup for my entire house, I hadn't used it for an extensive period of time until Hurricane Ian came through knocking out power for several days. This unit powered my house and ran perfectly the entire time. I had neighbors coming by the house to recharge items and provide electricity to my neighbor to keep their refrigerator working.

I currently have another smaller Westinghouse generator and am very happy with it, but have not had a need to use this generator yet. I have one strong suggestion for the manufacturer. The packaging is nothing more than a cardboard box. It does little to protect the generator. I was fortunate and had no damage, but I saw a number of reviews from people that weren’t so lucky. I was an engineer in the automotive industry and packaged many different items for shipment. These generators should be bolted to a skid with a 2x4 frame for protection. It would save the manufacturer in warranty costs and customer dissatisfaction.

Within an hour I had the WGEN9500 fully set up, oil and gas filled and started with the push of a button!!! The remote starter even worked on the first try! I almost WANT to lose power! Just follow the simple directions and you can easily get up and running.

I looked at many different generators and this unit has all of the features I was looking in a backup home generator. The wattage output, fuel choices, remote start, and 50 amp outlet will fit my needs perfectly. Unpacking and assembly was very easy, and the generator was up and running in no time.

My neighbor owns this unit and raves about it. I needed to replace mine so bought the exact same one. This is a sturdy made product with an easy to navigate/operate control panel. Powerful unit that is reliable. And detailed manuals enclosed that are easy to read.

We purchased this a couple of months back preparing for winter. It was easy to set up and had the first start up in 10 minutes. It was delivered fully assembled except for the wheels. We experienced a 6 hour power outage after purchase and powered everything we needed including 2 refrigerators, freezer, wifi, lights, etc. with no issues.

I got this as a gift brand new from my family and it is very easy to start up without pulling the cord which is a plus, it also runs my entire house without any issues which it has been very helpful during the last two storms here in the island. Very easy to take care, only which I have gotten the dual gas and propane one.

The WGen9055 was purchased from a store and deliver to my door step. The generator was 99% ready to go from the shipping container. After putting in the gas and oil the unit start right up. However, I wish it had a low idle when there is not electrical pull, to conserve gas and noise. Maybe other models have that feature, so make sure you check that out. So far, I am happy with the purchase.

I have only owned this for 2 weeks. I was very amazed at the quality of this machine. Very easy to assemble and set up. Ready to go in 20 minutes. Started right up and ran smooth. Much quieter than expected. The remote start is very cool. It should power my whole house. Can't wait till the next storm.
