I bought this just recently after doing several comparisons and after speaking with and electrician who also recommended the Westinghouse generators. This machine is full of excellent features and although it's compact, everything you might need to get at to service is easily accessible. I was very impressed with the manual that came with it. It's well written and well laid out, something you don't come across too much these days. I bought this powerhouse because it will run my entire house, including my AC, although naturally I will be prudent about too many appliances starting up at once. I was also impressed that Westinghouse put the support phone number right there on the machine!

Bought this after experiencing a 5 day power outage & trying to keep the house livable using a low power generator. The 9500 watt output of the WGen9500 will allow me to cool or heat the house & also power other appliances. Having it shipped to my door is just a few days was great. The wide array of power connections makes it easy to meet specific needs. The remote electric start is also a bonus.

This generator is wonderful I use it for camping with my horse Trailor it takes care of all you need electric,lights,air conditioning etc. So much easier than hauling two small generators with me. The Remote start is what I like too, if raining just push a button.. Also, if power goes out can run my refrigerator, freezer and fans. Would recommend this product highly.

Very happy with this generator can run everything in my house even the central air just to make the wife happy also I'm getting about 13 hours on a full tank of gas three of my friends were impressed with how much I can run and 2 of them just ordered the same one

I bought this a couple of months ago, as an upgrade to an older smaller generator. Setup was easy and quick. The instructions were clear, and easy to follow. This generator has a lot of very nice features, especially for the price! Any generator of decent capacity is fairly loud, but this one is considerably quieter that my old one, which is half the size. I can't comment on durability, but was reassured by the three year warranty. Time will tell, but I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and would recommend this product to a friend.

When it came in we open the box and pulled the generator out. After checking the generator over we add the oil, and did a precheck . We put some fuel in the tank and it started right up the frist time. We ran it with some power tools with no problem, and would work good for the house also.

I like this generator because it comes with everything to run the generator, including wheels and spark plug wrenches, and even funnels. I first considered buying a cheaper one at a cheap tool shop, but even after the other generator's discount this Westing House one seemed cost-effectively better because I would have to buy a wheel kit and battery separately if I had bought the cheaper one. That is, it wasn't actually cheaper. Plus, the WGEN9500 comes with several wonderful features, including the remote starting functionality. One thing, the remote starter key fob was tied to the pull cord (for manual starting) when it was delivered. I couldn't find it at first because I thought I would find it in the manual packet or the accessary box. When you assemble the wheels and feet, see the attached pictures. It would be easier if you open the box from the bottom and attach one wheel and the 2 feet first. Then, stick in some pieces of lumber under the generator. This will help support the generator while you attach the other wheel without leaving scratches on the frame.

Generator works great but craftsmanship could be improved. both lower crossbraces were slightly bent but were easliy straightened. Generator is louder than most so don't expect a quite Honda like sound. Dollar for dollar, pound for pound well worth the money!

I bought the product three weeks ago and it was easy to assemble. It fired up on the first try. Have not connected anything to it because I didn’t get the power cord with it. I contacted Westinghouse and their customer service was great. Hopefully I’ll be getting the power soon and putting this beast to the test. More to come….

Bought this due to numerous Southern CA power outages for fire prevention. Decided on the WGen9500 because it would power most everything in my house. I compared a lot of units in regards to pricing, features and reviews and the WGen9500 gave you the best bang for your buck!!! Love that it has 4 outlets, that's hard to find!! and a remote start! Just received it so haven't had a chance to use it yet. Would like to say shipping needs a to be addressed. While there was nothing wrong with the unit itself, the box was open on both top and bottom and numerous tears in the cardboard around the box. Oil was also spilled on areas of the unit, the oil cap was not on tight enough. Even though there was a tag saying oil was drained for shipping, apparently there was still some left in it, Cleaned it up with disinfectant wipes.
