I did a lot of research before purchasing/ordering this Westinghouse generator. It arrived quickly and after installing the wheel kit, and adding oil and gasoline, it started on the first try. It runs quiter than my old generator, has many more features and will provide more watts. It seems bad weather events are occurring more frequently in our area and this generator will provide the needed power my family and I will need in the event power is lost. Thank you Westinghouse!

I ordered and received the generator before hurricane Ida hit south Louisiana. We were fortunate we didn’t get hit directly. I was able run 3 window units , refrigerator, freezer , lights, fans, TV, treatment plant & hot water tank . Although I only needed it for a short time . It did everything I needed it to do with no problems. Great unit !! I would’ve gave it 5 stars but I haven’t used it long enough.

I live in Florida where hurricanes can sometimes knock out power for weeks so I bought this generator to be able to continue a normal life with heat, a/c, and lights and refrigeration. Hope I don’t need it anytime soon but it’s good to know I am prepared.

I bought this due to my area having a lot of outages and tired of throwing money away because of power not being restored right away (total of 8 days due to winter storm in 2018 and Just recently ISIASIA (hurricane on east coast) I bought in June and didn’t use until August. Easy to put together, super easy start up. Bring a first time user of a generator I’m really comfortable using and hooking up and shutting down. With the right gas cans easy to refuel also. Westing house did such a great job on this product and I recommend to anyone we didn’t need such a big unit now but we plan on hooking up to home in future

Bought a 6500 right before the Texas freeze. Assembled out of box at night when my other generator quit. Was assembled and working in less than 30 minutes at near zero temp. Very easy to use. Sold that to my son and bought the 9500 for whole house.

After lots of research I decided to go with a Westinghouse for there great customer support and quality product. With all the different brands of generators out there its hard to find one to invest in where you can trust the product to perform when needed. Westinghouse does just that.

Bought this as an upgrade, my old generator was only 5000 watts runnning and we needed more to run the house, after doing research and comparing models i decided on the wgen9500, out of the box all i needed to do was put on the wheels and feet which took all of about 8 minutes, add the oil and gas and it cranked on first pull, unit does has a battery start as well. i am very pleased with this product.

My generator just arrived. Everything is well packaged. Generator is a good value compared to competitors. Decided to buy this generator when our house was without power for five days. We lost more in food than what this generator cost. Next time we'll save our food and get to take showers!

This generator was highly recommended by my Electrician. It has the power to run most of, if not my entire house. It's features make it easy to operate and I felt the price was very competitive. The reviews on line gave it an excellent rating and it has a competive warranty. It's for these reasons and that it's a Westinghouse product that I made the decision to purchase this generator over several other choices.

I purchased an original generator in February through Home Depot. After getting the generator delivered it was found to have significant shipping damage. We contacted the GE Customer service line and was offered replacement parts or that they would work with Home Depot to replace the machine. This is the replacement which arrived in less than 3 weeks from the original purchase. This generator was delivered in very good condition. Assembly was easy and straight forward. At this time it runs well on a test and seems to be what we were looking for. Intended use is for backup power to our home since we experience frequent outages during rough weather.
