Easy to unbox, super easy to assemble, and started up right away! Glad it has a larger gas tank and more power. Our electrician was impressed with it, and the remote starter! (Just remember to buy your power cord, we got a 50amp 20ft. cord on Amazon.)

Living in Texas we know the value of being well prepared for hurricane season. In fact I am writing this review less than a week after Hurricane Beryl devastated the greater Houston region. Having a powerful home outdoor generator brings invaluable peace during an otherwise chaotic event. We purchased this 9500c to increase our power to 50 amps for our newly installed plug-in breaker box. This generator was easy to assemble and moves smoothly with wheel kit that is included. Beryl may be gone, but we're on the front end of what may be a very active hurricane season. I highly recommend this generator.

The generator arrived boxed and palletized. Unboxing showed no damage and assembly of the wheels and feet was simple. I filled the oil and gas tanks, but when I tried to start it with the push button start nothing happened. After several tries I gave up and started it manually it ran fine. I let it run for about 20 minutes thinking the battery needed charging, but that did not happen. I checked the battery connections and re-read all the instructions, but to no avail. Then I checked the wires that were tucked up under the control panel and saw two male/female connection wires held together with a zip tie and saw that that was the issue. Once connected, the generator started as it should with the push button. It would have been nice if this necessary connection was mentioned in the start-up instructions.

I pitched this generator just as an added piece of mind for power outage. Seems well built and was delivered with no problem and in great condition. I added oil and followed instructions on how to pair the remote start and started it with the fob. Great product so far.

Reviewed many generators and Westinghouse WGen9500 had the best fit and and fuel economy for my needs. Came shipped to my door with very little assembly required. Fired right up first push of the button and ran exceptionally quiet. Nice small package and will fit easily in the camper and garage. Very happy with purchase.

I did a lot of shopping online and found this to be the generator to be able to take of my family during an emergency. It offered more, at a better price point than others on the market. Had it running an hour after delivery, Loved the push button and key fob start, but also has emergency pull start if battery is not charged. I know I’ll be ready for any future emergencies

Prefect size Generator for my 2400 sq ft. home. Runs the well pump, all lights, computers, TV's, 2 Refrigerators and more. I like the smaller engine because it is easy on gas, an important consideration for extended power outages. This unit took 1.5 qts 10-30w motor oil. I drained the oil after 8 hrs to get the metal shavings out of the new engine, then replaced the oil with synthetic 10-30w Mobil 1. This reduced the noise level and vibration considerably. Very well built for the price. Super Happy!

We bought this generator after being without power for 48 hours. It handily powered our refrigerator (720 watts), microwave (1100 watts), multiple lamps and battery charger. There is capacity to spare. The electric start is a super convenient and reliable. There is even a remote control fob so that you can start and start the generator from inside. This generator is extremely well made. As an electrical engineer, I am quite impressed with this Westinghouse 9500 generator. Be sure to follow the instructions to ground the generator since it is equipped with GFCI outlets.

I bought this generator to be ready for the hurricane season. I tested it and it runs very nice providing all the power I need. It is easy to handle and the instructions are clear to set it up. It covered 100 percent my expectations. I recommend strong recommend this product.

I bought the 9500c generator a couple months ago. It is very simple to assemble, they provided the oil, funnel and tools to get it started. The push button start works great. My wife used the remote start key fob inside and outside house. This feature is a mobility saver since my wife is disabled. She has the freedom to start and stop the generator if she leaves the house. The generator is very quiet. A couple weeks after I received it, I lost power for 3 days, powered the whole house. It is a must have. I would definitely recommend!!!
