Just got the generator for Christmas. Set it up and love it. Set up was really easy. I really love the remote start feature. The generator is extremely quiet. So glad I don't have to pull start anymore. It will be our back up generator for our house.

We got this to help keep critical parts of the house powered during loss of power. Pros: like that it came with oil and a properly shaped funnel to fill the reservoir. It is also nice that it came with a cord to keep the onboard battery charged so it doesn't die between uses. Cons: would like for the generator to have a load meter so we can easily see how heavily it is loaded. Other brands we have used included an easy to read load gauge.

After the recent power outage I decided to step up to the plate and buy a new generator to meet my house needs. This Westinghouse 9500 generator fit that need. Quality is awesome, it’s loaded with features missing from other generators.plus it’s warranty is amazing, three years.

I bought this generator sight unseen and it sat in my cold garage for over a month before I opened the box up and tried it out. 'Started right up and it's easier to move than I thought and now I'm all set for whatever New England weather throws at me!

The generator came in yesterday and took me about an hour to get it up and running. I have a 6000sqft house and everything runs off of it except for one of the AC compressors. I'll need to alternate between my AC compressors. This thing is AWESOME!

We live in a rural area and when the power goes out, it can take some time for the linemen to get out this way. Now they can take there sweet time if they need to because this generator will power everything that I need to here on the farm. Great product and i would recommend to anyone that needs some serious power

We use this Westinghouse (WGen9000) as a replacement to the Wgen7500 that we lost in a forest, Both have performed extremely well. This has been used with an offgrid setup, providing power for tools like welders and plasma cutters, also quickly topping up batteries for a solar system on rainy days. Cannot recommend enough.

I have a lot of experience with large commercial diesel generators (100 KW+) and portable generators such as this one. It took less then 20 minutes to setup by myself - with the help of my tractor to unload it. I have only run mine for a few hours to start the break-in and try it out. It is quieter then the name brand 8 KW open frame gen it is replacing (the 8 KW reached the end of it's service life) and looks like it will be much easier to service with a better layout. From what I have seen so far, I am really happy with my purchase, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better portable generator of this size for this price - it is a good value. I am pretty confident it will serve my needs as my backup gen for my off-grid homestead for many years with proper service.

I did much research before I made this purchase, and I am glad I did. I bought this generator to power my whole house, which it easily does. I had an electrician come in and wire everything and he even commented on the great product this generator is. Once he was done with his work, we tested the generator. I was very happy with the outcome. It was what I had expected and more. The features are great as well. The 30 and 50 amp plugs are perfect. The USB ports are a bonus. the push button start with a remote also means I can get this generator warmed up and ready before I have to go out on a cold winter day. It even comes with a battery trickle charger. Westinghouse thought of everything. If you are searching for a generator, here it is. My WGEN9500 was purchased online on Monday they delivered it on Friday. Easy set up came with oil, wrenches, wheels, and battery. Starts 3 ways all started the generator with no problem! Has lots of handy features plus a very generous warranty program of 3 years motor and gen. Well worth the money!!!
