I purchased this generator earlier this month and was impressed with the workmanship and looks. After following the startup, the generator fired off immediately after the short delay on the push button. This is my first Westinghouse generator and am looking forward to many years of use. The remote start switch works well. I like it a lot!!

Recommended by my electrician, we bought this generator for backup house power. One fuel, relatively quiet (75db) and enough power to run our house and well pump. Comes with tools, oil and a charged battery. Just add premium non-ethanol gasoline and you are good to go!

I purchased the WGenerator for electrical security in the event I lose power. It's large enough to power my whole house. I got the tri-fuel, so no matter what I should have fuel readily available. I've had stand by generators since 2017 and have only had to use it once. At that time I didn't have one large enough to run my heat and cooling, which was a bummer. So after that I got a larger one. It was also a WGenerator, but I lost it in a shop fire in 2023. Therefore, I purchased a new one and went with the tri-fuel. I have not lost electricity for long periods of time often enough to justify the high cost of a whole home power unit such as Generx. To me this is a very cost effective way to have stand by electrical power. With a plug installed at my breaker box, all I have to do is plug it in, start it up, and engage the power.

I shopped and compared dozens of brands and models before deciding on the WGen9500. My Dad has had the WGen7500 for a couple years with no isaues, so I had some confidence in the Westinghouse brand even though the generator itself is made overseas (Vietnam). My purchase was to upgrade from a circa 2005 Coleman Powermate 5500 that served me well they many power outages. I was shocked that this 9500 watt generator was not much larger than the old Yamaha MZ300 powered 5500 and is actually noticeably QUIETER! Will be running it thru its paces soon after I complete a thorough and gentle break-in. My primary concern would be the THD rating -- Specs indicate up to 23% THD which would be disasterious to sensitive electronics and also would be rejected by battery backups/UPSs which I use many of. Anxious to see the actual noise level in the power output.

I bought my father-in-law the dual fuel model last year and just purchased my own gas-powered version. It has been incredibly reliable and easy to use. Runs quiet and trouble free. Worth every dollar, especially when you lose power for two weeks like we just did after a freak snow storm!

Just received my new generator yesterday. Hope not to use it but living in south Florida, hurricanes can be very destructive leaving us without power for days. It arrived on time and packaged perfectly. No damage. I connected it to a propane tank to test it and it started immediately. I love the remote start function. So far, everything looks great and is exactly as advertised. When needed, I anticipate having a valuable tool that works perfectly.

Im happy with this generator, only had some issues when the spring and rod fell off from the carburator, was able to fix it myself but since it is brand new, I was disappointed that I had to fix it so soon right after I heard that the engine wasnt running the way it suppose to.Happy with the generator

We are very happy with our generator purchase. The shipping was timely and it arrived in perfect condition. The manual and setup were easy to follow. We did start it up and it ran perfectly. We really like the manual start button and bonus remote start feature. This generator has enough power to run everything we will need during a power outage.

I just received my 9500 W Westinghouse generator and I am really happy with it. I live in California and we’ve been getting power outages. The only thing I would say is I got nine hours out of one tank although my whole house is electric so it was probably pulling harder. Other than that small little complaints, this is the one I wanted and I’m glad I got it.
