Knew I wanted a Westinghouse as I have owned a smaller inverter unit and loved it. Went to 3 different stores to find it and have no regrets. This thing works perfect and has all the outlets I need for my purposes (work and home use). Also really appreciate the remote start feature.

I bought this generator after the hurricane that came through. My old one was not working and got this. When it came in I was able to hook up and power the house quickly. Instructions easy to read and work with. I was rigged up at home for a 30 amp and was able to use it and run everything I needed and kept freezers and fridge running. Will be wiring up for the 50 amp when I get the chance. Thanks for a great machine.

My first impressions of this generator were better than I would have thought. I thought the build would have been cheaper looking in person, and a general low quality, but to my surprise this gen is more like the premium ones you can buy for 3 times this cost! Another thing that blows me away is the sound level. Construction style generators like this are generally loud and obnoxious, I’ve own 3 10+ horsepower generators that have been too loud and embarrassing to use next to your neighbor. They must be doing mufflers different now because the Westinghouse 9500 is not necessarily quiet, but definitely do-able for the neighbors. I can speak just over normal volume and have a casual conversation next to it while it’s running. I love it! So glad I bought it!

We love this generator, although what we intended for it we actually need more power. This unit is great. Only downfall I wish it was a little quieter. We used it for a concession trailer. When first calculating watts we needed 7800, when we are pulling more like 11-12000.

I bought this generator to replace our old one that stopped working during our last storm and am so glad I did. I liked the fact that this is an electric start because my old one was a pull start and too much work. An added plus is the key fob that allows for remote start- no more running outside to pull start! Unboxing was quick and set up required putting feet and wheels on, connecting battery and adding oil(which was included) and gas. It was fairly quick and simple and directions are easy to follow. I couldn't wait to test it out. A few people mentioned how loud this generator was but I am sat it is no longer than any other generatorvi have heard and there are quite a few in my neighborhood. Starting was unbelievably easy. Key fob remote start took just a hold down of start button as did electric start but the real winner was how easy the pull start was- one pull and it started right away. This was such a a pleasant change from our last generator that took many pulls. I like the digital screen that tells you volt output, frequency, and lifetime hours to keep you up to date eith real time info and maintenance needs. There is some important information to know regarding the breaking in period but everything is clearly stated in manual. The manual states that the generator will run for 12 hours on the full 6.6 gallons of gas. The lift up handle and wheels makes it very easy to move around. I have to say I am looking forward to our next power outage now that I have this. I highly recommend!

Well designed unit and offers good value for the price. Had a problem with the remote fob. I was sent a replacement in 4 days. Only problem? Westinghouse offered a free cover for writing a review. Turns out they ran out of the covers. So no free cover. Come on Westinghouse, make some more and follow through on your offer...

I just bought this after the Texas winter storm of 2021 when our power was shut off for a week. The shipping was right away and it came just as advertised. I’ve got it all set up with a test run and ready for the next time we lose power so we don’t ever have to be without heat again!

My wife and I purchased this generator as a way to power some of our needs when the power goes out. Haven't been able to use yet for power needs, but will say it did start without any problems and was really easy. Electric start is an awesome feature and was one of our main points.

Just purchased. Everything works as expected, simple assembly of legs/wheels, oil fill, battery connect. Started on the third pull. Electric start (button) also started with no issues. Includes dedicated battery charger for electric start battery.

Excellent Generator. Lost power twice this winter for periods ranging roughly 2 days+. The Westinghouse generator had no problem in keeping all the essentials of the home powered along with proper lighting and heating to the home for my newborn. Highly reliable when needed. Majorly recommend
