I bought this generator in September 2023. We have used it several times since then. I like that there is three ways to start it. I love the remote start feature. It starts every time that I need it to. I also like having a fuel gauge on the generator. When it is running it's not very loud.

The generator was easy to put together without need for additional tools. It is surprising easy to move around despite its weight. The push start remote makes the generator very easy to start. I was also surprised by how quiet (for a generator!) it is when on. No longer dreading the next big storm!

I was looking for a generator with all the features and found exactly what I was looking for with the Westinghouse WGen9500c. I love the build quality and many positive reviews that finally convinced me to go with Westinghouse for my whole home emergency backup system.

I just bought the Westinghouse WGen9500c for our home, in case of bad weather. I put a load on it to run some important items in the house and it performed nicely. I plan on having a transfer switch put into our electrical box. We feel better that we have the generator that has a running rate of 9500w and 12500 as a peck rate, in case we lose power.

I researched generators for several months before selecting the WGen9500 & I’m very happy with this generator. The packaging protected it during shipping - the product was defect-free. The directions for assembly were very clear. All parts were included and fit properly. After assembly & upon filling with oil & gas, I opened the gas line & pressed the remote. Since the factory charged the battery & already paired the remote with the generator, it started right up. Westinghouse has done a great job creating a product with the right features & making it easy for the customer to use. I’m ready for the next power outage.

I bought this a few days ago have yet to put it through a real test. But it is loaded with great features. It has a fob, electric start, battery charger, and a real neat feature. Called a smart switch ready. Will have to buy that separate but well worth it if you hookup to your house to kick gen on off when regular power kicks on and off. Worth the money

I HAVE A CHEAPER GENERATOR I BOUGHT FOR BAD WEATHER. LIVE OUT IN THE COUNTRY. IT WOULD BARELY KEEP UP WITH BASIC FANS, FRIDGE, LIGHTS, ETC. WANTED BIGGER UNIT TO RUN WELL ALSO. THIS UNIT DOES IT. WELL MADE. STARTS RIGHT UP AND WORKS GREAT. VERY IMPRESSED WITH PRODUCT.

I ordered and received the generator before hurricane Ida hit south Louisiana. We were fortunate we didn’t get hit directly. I was able run 3 window units , refrigerator, freezer , lights, fans, TV, treatment plant & hot water tank . Although I only needed it for a short time . It did everything I needed it to do with no problems. Great unit !! I would’ve gave it 5 stars but I haven’t used it long enough.

This generator was exceptionally easy to set up and start using. It took me less than 15 minutes to get the generator unboxed, assembled and filled with oil and gas. It started up immediately using the push button start. I shut it down and tried the remote start which also worked perfectly. I then plugged the generator into my transfer switch and was able to power my water pump, air conditioning and all my 120V devices that I normally leave on (modem, router, TV, ceiling fans, etc.) with no apparent strain on the generator. I live on the North Carolina coast and bought this generator for backup power since hurricane season is approaching. I hope I don't need it, but I now have a little more peace of mind knowing I'll be able to shower, cook and watch local news if we do lose power for several days like we did with Florence.

Absolutely love this thing! It looks great, easy to set up even though the instructions are out of date, and can power 6 breakers in my home just fine. I cant believe these generators have a remote start Fob! Westinghouse best in the business doing it right! Worth every penny spent!
