have been watching this generator for approximately 9 to 10 months. I was waiting for it to go down in price, and It finally did, and boy were we fortunate! We saved quite a bit of money. When it arrived, my husband was so excited you would’ve thought it was Christmas. Wonderful features, easy to use, I could even use it. The old generator had a pull start, which was horrible. At least we have something now for power outages. we love it!

I purchased this as a portable backup generator for our home. Assembly was very easy and straight forward. I filled with the supplied oil, connected the supplied battery, put gasoline in the fuel tank, opened the fuel cock valve, put the choke into choke mode, hit the start button and the engine started up very quickly. The choke automatically goes into run mode. Hooked the generator to some electrical tools and everything ran flawlessly. Very happy with this generator and my purchase!

Hasn't really been put to the test yet, but almost excited to have a power outage. With a little prep, it's all set-up for plugging into utility pole & ready to go. Was warned about some other generators from other places, but this one looks good & should meet our needs.

I just purchased the generator and it was easy to assemble. It started right up with the pull cord. Battery wasn't charged enough to attempt the electric start or fob features. I hooked it up to the transfer switch and it powered all the major appliances and still had more amps to engage our heat pump.

I bought this unit last year in August 2019 to prepare for outages we experience several times during the winter. Well, never had an outage until 10/2020 - I never got it ready to run until this outage, put the gas and oil in it, hooked the battery up and hit the start button BAM! started right up and been running for 16 hours on same full tank.

This was purchased as a gift for me in September of 2021. It has never been in service. It only has 244 hours. It has only been started periodically to maintain everything. I have followed all the recommended Westinghouse procedures for storage. This is electric start. Why has the battery failed so soon? Shouldn’t the battery be under warranty? I have attached pictures. You’ll see in one that the factory installed protective tape is still on the outlets.

This generator is a great option to power our WHOLE house! Living in Texas, Hurricanes is always an issue that causes loss of power, and having the peace of mind that we have a Westinghouse to keep our house and family going is great to have! The 12 hour run time is amazing and makes it so there are no worries throughout the night.

Just received my generator today. Setup was quick and easy. Very well documented - my wife can operate it from the startup instruction right on the unit. I find it to be surprisingly quiet and smooth running. Time will tell on reliability but very happy with it so far.

I purchased this generator less than a month ago. It arrived perfectly intact and assembled within 20 minutes. I easily followed the directions and started it up within the hour that i unboxed. I don't have a load on it yet but will report back once it gets wired to a transfer switch.

First time portable gen owners. Very easy to use and lots of information out there to fall back on. Easy set up, runs quieter than expected. Solid construction. If you are newbies to the portable generator scene, you will not be disappointed with this one. Worth every penny!
