I just completed my research of many other generators, And there just didn't seem to be anything comparable to this one. Push Button Start, Remote Start ! This one will serve my currant needs and my future plans. RV plug is just a bonus for me. Easy set up, comfortable transport handle, easy start up. My house was built with a transfer panel, I still need to complete all my testing. But i'm sure there will be no issues.

I purchased this unit recently and was very pleased with the quality of the product. It seems to be built well. I was concerned that it might be too heavy for me to move but the fold down handle gives enough leverage to make moving it easy. I am replacing a smaller unit that wasn't quite large enough for my home when the power goes out. This unit provides more than I need.

I lost power a month ago when a tree in front of my house took down the line to it. I had to borrow my neighbors generator. I consider myself to be fairly strong, but I couldn’t start it on my own. I was afraid of running out of gas in the middle of the night. So I’d have to stop it late at night and ask someone to start it in the morning. I knew that I wanted one, but it needed to be a push start. I found this model online after doing some research. I’m so glad that I bought it. There’s not going to be anymore worrying about loss of power. It’s push button and 9500 watts of running power. Great price too. Love it!

This gen took 25 days beyond the website proposed delivery date; thus the 4stars. This is a nice gen able to run all the house, with some reasonable planning. Paid an electrician to install a hookup, and interconnect safety switches, and now the gen just plugs into a single 50a plug and I can turn on the house power from the fuse box. The gen is very portable with good quality wheels.

I'm very impressed with Westinghouse the quality of this generator. After returning generator from a different manufacture due to mechanical issues, I decided to buy a Westinghouse based of their review ratings and comments. I'm so glad I did! This generator is of better quality than the other one that I had, has more useful features, more power, and was $100 cheaper! If you're in the market for a generator, you should seriously give Westinghouse a chance; I promise you will not be disappointed!

Bought this product on-line as house backup generator. I was impressed right away with the packaging and included tools. Instructions were very clear and easy to work through. Put in the (included) oil and gas, hooked up battery and pushed the start button. It started right away. The fob worked a treat and I am not even sure I actually set it up. Let it run for a while on low load with no issues or concerns. Noise was as expected and not intrusive. Very pleased with the whole experience and would highly recommend this Westinghouse portable generator. Lots of confidence that when, not if, I will need it I can depend upon it.

Just received the generator today. WGen9500C. Shipping was fast and delivered with no apparent damage. Put it together and put oil in it as instructed. Battery needed charging and I have it charging overnight. Have not been able to run it, thus the 4-star rating. Once running and operating correctly, I'll update the rating as necessary.

We had a power outage 2 nights ago and I finally got a chance to use my WFH generator. What a life saver - I was able to keep working (I trade Asia markets from my home at night) - during the 3-hr power outage while most of this part of the world was sleeping. Next time I'll know to have more gas on hand, as I wasn't prepared and only had about a third of a container from leftover lawnmower gas around. Regardless, the generator fired up quickly and was reliable when I needed it.

I bought this generator after borrowing my neighbors due to a power outage that lasted 25 hours to power a sump Pump, 2 refrigerators, a chest Freezer and charged our cell phones. The unit is a high performance machine and is superior to others I shopped for. I’m grateful I bought this to protect our home. I’m also looking to have our house wired for apower transfer.

This is my first gas generator purchased in late October. I did quite some online research and decided to go with this brand and model based on our house needs. I am not a handy person yet I found the instructions very clear and easy to follow. I set up the wheels and filled up the gas tank, connected the battery then ready to start. It took me a few minutes to realize that I didn't put the gas valve to the "On" position. The electric start really made the start so simple. I let it ran for an hour to help break a little bit. Very satisfied with the experience of getting started. Now I have the generator wired to the panel by an electric engineer and expect it to run the whole house except the AC.
