I bought this just recently after doing several comparisons and after speaking with and electrician who also recommended the Westinghouse generators. This machine is full of excellent features and although it's compact, everything you might need to get at to service is easily accessible. I was very impressed with the manual that came with it. It's well written and well laid out, something you don't come across too much these days. I bought this powerhouse because it will run my entire house, including my AC, although naturally I will be prudent about too many appliances starting up at once. I was also impressed that Westinghouse put the support phone number right there on the machine!

I’m seriously impressed with this generator. The overall build quality is excellent and the remote start? C’mon. So cool to have and actually really convenient. It has plenty of power to run everything in our house with proper use. The only unfortunate thing I have to say is mine came with some cosmetic damage. Not sure when it was done to it but it has some scratches and scuffs on it. I included a picture for reference. But overall I’m very pleased and would absolutely recommend this generator.

Load size and price per watt matter more than other items. Out of the box, put together and running in less than 30 minutes. Started on the forth crank cycle, then on the first crank thereafter. The only issue was the negative battery lug was hitting the wheel, rotated it out of the way and it's just fine. It doesn't have the wattage load needed to carry the whole load of the house, but it'll do just fine to cover those needed items.

I bought this a month ago and I am so glad that I did. Just lived through the ravages of Hurricane Ida. Lost power about 10 hours after the wind started picking up and immediately cranked up the 9500 with the starter button. The set-up had been easy - they even included a quart of the proper oil, as well as a funnel to fill it up. Ran every thing I wanted with power to spare for 15 hours without a gas refill. Made the whole event livable. Only wished I had put aside more gas - the lines at the gas station were a pain and I could have poured any I did not use into my truck.

I bought it a month ago and it's already been part of our family. We have power issues in the area and the generator serves well for the purpose. The best feature I like is the remote started with the keyfobe. Works well and will recomend others who look for a portable generator!

Bought this a month ago to be better prepared for hurricane season. Did test run for 6 hrs and unit performance was excellent! Started right up and full power to my house. I bought the 9500w generator and I’m not disappointed. Very easy to install the wheels and the handle is preinstalled. Added the oil which is included and after filling with gas, and connecting the battery, it fired right up with the push button ignition. Pairing of the key mod was explained in the directions and was fairly easy. Feels awesome knowing we’ll be with power and not have to go stand in line for ice with most of the other unfortunate ones when it’s lights out. Thank you Westinghouse for such a great pruduct. I bought this a couple of months ago in order to prepare for the winter. I’ve only had to use it once but I love it especially the remote start capability and it’s got 50 amp plug instead of just a 30. Awesome purchase I just love it. Getting ready for spring storms which can bring power outages. But I am ready!

I bought this generator to upsize one I had previously bought. This one had so many great features that the one I previously purchased did not. Once arrived, it came with everything needed to get this generator up and running. Haven't been able to use it yet, but I am excited to see how it does and just how much it powers.

I did a lot of research on portable home generators, many brands and capacities. I selected the Westinghouse 9500 with remote start for a number of reasons, the Westinghouse brand, number of years experience in home power generation and the reviews. I received it as expected, filled the oil, filled the gas, connected the battery terminals, pushed the remote start/stop and it started immediately. I am confident that this unit is going to serve me well the next time we loose power, well pump, heating, frig, lighting, etc.
