I like it!

Minimal assembly required. I added the oil, some gas, and it fired right up first push of the START button. I am surprised at all the features of this model for the price, for example: remote start and CO detector/shut off. It is well designed and well made. It runs with less vibration and is a bit quieter than I expected.

Great performance

I bought this back in October and have been very pleased. I have a manual transfer switch that has my oil furnace, water pump, refrigerator, and a number of rooms in my house hooked to it. The WGen9500 handles those loads with room to spare. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Simple set-up

Just received a box with my new wgen9500 generator. Put this sucker together in about ten minutes, filled the oil and gas tanks and started on 3rd manual pull. I then went to electronic start a BANG——worked great. Highly suggest that if you are looking for a great product, get cracking and buy this thing. Great for our Florida hurricanes.

Only Way To Start

Living in Florida requires that you have a portable generator! Hurricanes come, Power goes. We had a generator but it was one with a pull start which got more difficult as we age. After research we determined that this Westinghouse 9500/12000 was perfect for us, it has an electric starter and gives us more than needed power. As seniors we are truly grateful that we can now have reliable emergency power without the painful physical effort required to start the old pull generator. This Westinghouse Electric start portable generator is truly the only one seniors should have for emergencies.

Easy to use

I use this to power my whole house. I am a 60 yr old female and this was so easy for me to use. Starts right up with the push start. The big wheels and the handle design on it makes it very easy to move around. It's a little bit heavy, but I managed just fine with it. Glad I bought this generator.

This Generator is the best Bang for your Buck!

This Generator has so many Great Features. I love the remote start! This makes it so easy for my Wife to start it. Once I put the oil & Gas in it started the first time in seconds. It will run one of my Air Conditioners. I also love the fact that it has a handle to pull it around with the nice big wheels. I am very pleased with my investment!

Great Generator but have CO Sensor Issues

Generator worked great when I first purchased and test ran. Ive started it monthly, since purchased in August of 2023, to let it run a little and shut it off since I have not had the need to run it continuously yet. Today, 1/10/24, I started it up and a few minutes later the CO sensor, yellow light, comes in and shuts down the generator. I even placed it in the middle of my backyard away from everything to try it and it still shuts down due to the CO sensor.

Great Product

This generator has everything that I was looking for and more. Finally decided to get a generator after we lost power last year for several days. I did some research and decided to buy this model based on all of the features it has. We are now prepared for the next storm that comes through our area.

The best generator I have own

The best about this generator is the remote control to start it. The push or pull handle lever extends at the right angle and the other cool part is so many plugins options and metal gas tank this the best generator I have ever own. I would and have recommended this generator

WGen9500c for my 50 amp 5th wheel RV!

I bought this generator about 2 months ago. It was super easy to assemble the wheels and foot stops. The instructions are very easy to follow. The unit comes with the exact amount of oil needed. The unit started right up with the electric start button and then again with the remote. I started EVERYTHING in my 5th wheel and the generator did really well. I have two huge A/Cs, a full size fridge, full size microwave, electric water heater, water pump, electric fire place and a few appliances (such as vacumn, coffee). I just added some fuel stabilizer just in case since I won't be using it as often. Last thing, I'm currently at about 5,000+ feet above sea level. The instructions say I may need a kit for high altitude, but I haven't needed it yet. The generator is slightly louder than I would like, but I found it to be the quietest in the market that can produce this much power. The generator is also heavy, so I posted a picture of how I put it in my RV.
