Easy to assemble and prep for use. It took me less than 5 minutes to pull it out of the box and have it going. The assembly and before first use instructions were great. The fact that it comes with a simple maintenance sheet was helpful as well. Having never owned a generator before I wasn’t sure how frequently I needed to change the oil and/or filter so that is helpful. We live in a high fire area so generator reliability is very important when the power is cut off. After buying the smaller (5300DFv) and loving it, I bought this larger one to power more appliances and our air conditioner. Highly recommended.

have been watching this generator for approximately 9 to 10 months. I was waiting for it to go down in price, and It finally did, and boy were we fortunate! We saved quite a bit of money. When it arrived, my husband was so excited you would’ve thought it was Christmas. Wonderful features, easy to use, I could even use it. The old generator had a pull start, which was horrible. At least we have something now for power outages. we love it!

My old generator quit at the worst time. The Westinghouse 9500 is bigger and far more reliable than the other brands I have owned. This model will run the entire house, rather than stringing extension cords and deciding what my power priorities are. No more oakey rigged cords through the window. Thank you Westinghouse.

I bought this generator for a backup for my house in case of a power outage and also for potable power for my ranch. We live on the Texas gulf coast and from time to time we have a hurricane and power outage. This generator will keep my freezer and refrigerator going when there is no power. I also use the generator to run my welding machine at remote locations as well as my electric pole saw and chainsaw when I prune my trees out in the pasture. The remote start is handy when I am setting up to work on something I don't have to drop everything and go start the generator. I am very pleased with my generator.

Arrived very quickly. Very easy to move with wheels and lift handle for me and my wife. Lifts and moves like a 25lb item for a 200+ Generator. The battery came fully charged. This is our third generator and this is by far the best. Easy to register our new Generator online for warranty.

Bought this generator to replace a smaller unit. Every power outage, ihad to string extension cords all over the house to connect different appliances and lamps. Quite the job. So I decided to upgrade to a generator that would power most of the house through a transfer switch. The 9500 does the job. The bonus of remote start makes it very convenient to get things up and running in no time. Plus the unit is good value for the money. So far so good.

I bought this a week ago to prepare for hurricane season just Incase because you never know living here in Florida.This generator will run my whole house! It has all the wattage I need and features I need.The price was good and I do not regret purchasing this generator at all!

Hooked it up this weekend (need an electrician for the manual transfer) to prepare for the coming storm. I can run both fridges, freezer, central air, wall AC, lights, microwave, hot water heater, etc... This is amazing! For less than a 10th of the cost of a standby generator this thing does this trick. Unless you can't buy gasoline in preparation, I'd recommend this over any standby product. It's super powerful.

Everything on this generator was easy to set up. All parts and instruction were clear and detailed. Minimal assembly required. Battery was fully charged and it started right away. Experienced no fluctuation in power when running lights and power tools. Great product.

Generator was received in perfect condition, put it together in less than 10 minutes, put fuel in it for testing and it started right up without hesitation. Highly recommend as this is the best generator I've owned. I love the battery charger they supplied and the fob to start it up.
