I nought this generator last year (January 2021) and it sat in the box until the other day. Hurricane IAN was forecast to possibly come our way. Everything was in the box and after adding fuel and oil it cranked right up with just a push of the button! I’ll program the remote later today. I hooked up several deep freezers and this beast handled the power draw with absolutely no problem! Nice to have that peace of mind in an instant! Will definitely be looking to buy another for my barn and garage!

I bought this generator to run most of my house including: central A/C, refrigerator, lights, well pump, pool pump. Now I do not have to worry about having the temperature in my house at 92 degrees after a hurricane! Excellent generator, very glad that I bought it!

We purchased the WGen9500 during the very cold spell here in Missouri. After searching out a lot of different generator brands I zeroed in on this one because of the features it has. It was shipped on a pallet and no damage to the box whatsoever. Was packed very well and comes assembled with only the wheels and front legs/feet to put on. I added the oil, fuel, plugged together the battery connections and it fired right up. Runs very smooth and is quiet as my Honda 11 HP 7000 watt generator is. Plugged in my power saw and it didn't even hiccup. I bought this for back up power on my house and will be trying it out this weekend but confident is going to perform the way I want it to.

Don't lose power much anymore, but in today's social and weather climate, we feel like we should be prepared. Just took this out of the box and assembled. Maybe I will put a little gas in and run it for a bit on the weekend. Liked the reviews, just pray I don't need it.

Living in Florida requires that you have a portable generator! Hurricanes come, Power goes. We had a generator but it was one with a pull start which got more difficult as we age. After research we determined that this Westinghouse 9500/12000 was perfect for us, it has an electric starter and gives us more than needed power. As seniors we are truly grateful that we can now have reliable emergency power without the painful physical effort required to start the old pull generator.This Westinghouse Electric start portable generator is truly the only one seniors should have for emergencies.

I just bought this a week ago. Haven't fully used it but so far, so good. Started right up. Read the instructions, familiarize yourself with the manual. Lots of important information. Didn't even know it came with a remote starter. I can't wait to try this out fully in my house.

I purchased this product after I lost power for over 18 hours. What a hassle trying to save two freezers and two refrigerators. The product comes with good instructions and user manual. Very nice looking generator. I have not yet used it, as I haven’t lost power again but I am now prepared for when I do!

I worked in the electrical industry for 45 yrs and I know a good product when I see one. I did my research as best as I could comparing with many others of similar size and decided on the WGen 9500 to run almost everything in my house through the home's breaker box when I loose commercial power. It's a good feeling to know within minutes I can be up and running.

After a few days without power, I ordered the WGen9500. Powerful enough to run everything I needed. It showed up in 4 days when they said it would. Opened the box, everything was there; generator, wheels, rubber feet, oil, battery charger, and tool. Read the instructions. Step by step with pictures. All I needed to do was put the wheels and feet on, add the oil, and connect the battery wires. The handle was already attached and the battery was charged. Then, added fuel. Nice tank size, 6.5 gallons. Flipped the breaker switch to on, put the rocker switch to RUN, turned the fuel valve to ON position. Pulled the cord slow to prime the engine. Pressed the start button, and it started right away. Tested the 4 outlets immediately with quietestan electric chainsaw, each one worked. With the rubber feet, it didn't move from where I started it. Purposely had it on a slight incline just to find out if it would"walk". It stayed put. Also wanted to know how loud it would be. It said about 74 decibels. Fairly accurate. I have an older one that's rated for 5,000 watts which is much louder. I am going to have it be able to plug into the fuse box of the house and build a box for it to make it a little quieter. It was the quietest one in the neighborhood, even without a box over it. I like the plastic "no flat" wheels. The handle is wide with foam grip. Solidly built. Easy to move. Tried the remote start/stop. Did both first try. From the door of the house. It was in the driveway. I would highly recommend this generator.
