Just recently purchased and so far so good. Setup was easy and everything in the instruction manual seemed pretty straight forward. Fired up right away and tested fine on a few appliances. Next step will be detailing out the wattage needed for different appliances to see what I can run simultaneously.

It powers most of my house including my central AC unit. Use it as a home back up power source and it didn’t disappoint. Best investment you will make for peace of mind and at a good value. It won’t break your pocket and it will deliver more power than most out there at a cheaper price.

I bought this unit to have when the power goes out . just got in the other week and put it together so far so good . there were no damage to unit and was easy to install the wheels now just waiting to use it . all the reviews were great that is why i bought it will add more info once i use it.

Couldn’t be happier! Delivery was a day early. Set up was easy. Everything needed to get this beast running is included except, of course gasoline. Feet and wheels went on easily. Fluids are drained before shipping and pulling the handle upward and gently setting it on its side was smooth. Note – this is a heavy piece of equipment so be careful with it and yourself – feet, hands, etc. I put the gas in and followed the instructions for manual start from cold. It started on the second pull! The battery comes disconnected so there was enough life for push button start and remote start. Both worked as expected and without issue. I haven’t had to put it to operational use yet but I’m sure this monster will keep us powered when the need arises.

Everything is laid out nicely and easy to get to. I like that all receptacles have waterproof covers. The onboard battery charger is nice. This generator runs everything I could possibly need from my daily work to a power outage. It will run my 16 ceer 4 ton ac along with lights and refrigerators. I will be switching ac off to rum well pump and hot water heater as to not overload the system. Overall, this generator is all my family needs in an emergency.

I purchased my portable generator last month and received it last week. The installation manual was very good to put it together. My plumber ran the natural gas line and my electrician installed the manual transfer switch and ran the electric lines to my breaker box with no problem

Just received our WGEN-9500. It came within 2 days and with no issues. We lose our power frequently in the rural area we live in and this generator will give us almost an all house generator at a fraction of the cost. After doing my research and reading many reviews, on reliability, performance and customer support, we decided on this Westinghouse generator. Solid, well made and easy to unbox and get up and running. Feeling a lot more secure now!

I just purchased this generator and i cant say enough about how pleased i am with this purchase. It was delivered with everything it was supposed to have. I was able to put the tires and front legs on with ease and in less than an hour. I filled it with oil and gas and hit the start button and it started right up.

NOT WORKING IN COLD WEATHER (BELOW 20 F.) The "auto start" does not work at all at cold weather (Auto choke failure) It might work only if you push the choke lever with your thumb at the "cold" position and hold it there In other word: Useless if you live up northern USA or Canada fpor the reaL winter time

We purchased this generator in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. We have a smaller generator that was able to provide lights and small appliances. We wanted something bigger that would run window a/c units as well. We had a generac 8500 that has never worked right since day 1. We purchased this one based on a friends recommendation the Westinghouse name.
