Hooked up to home using the 50A plug on generator, Twenty foot/ 50A extension cord, Reliance PBN50 power inlet box, 6 ga. THHN wires to 50A breaker with mechanical interlock switch in electric panel. Runs entire home with 4 ton AC. Now for the disclaimer. My 4 ton American Standard condenser is new and pulls less than 40 amps when compressor kicks in. If your condenser is old, or if you can hear it hitting hard when it starts, you may have to install a soft or hard start kit on the condensing unit. I have only tested this for about an hour but cycled the AC on and off a few times and the generator performed very well. I'm in Houston area and the temp was almost 90 with ridiculous humidity when I ran this test.

I bought this for my husband and myself of course, as we live in a rural area, that tends to have several power outages, from rain & wind storms to Snow or ice storms. We have been left "in the dark" too many times, I did some searching for generators, and looked at MANY reviews, and this one seem to have the best, and what we were looking for. It has enough running watts to run our chest freezer, sump pump, refrigerator, furnace, lights and more! has a push button start, even a key fab, It is very user friendly. It is not too loud, We now are not nervous during storms in case the power goes out, this generator can run 17.5 hours on a full 6 gallon tank of gas. I highly recommend!

I assembled this generator right out of the box, put the provided oil and added gas. First kick and the generator starts with no problems whatsoever. I am impressed by the generator. The sound level is acceptable and it is an excellent choice for my needs.

We habitually lose power several times a year because we live in the country. The last time the electricity was out for days. I was worried about food getting spoiled. This generator foots the bill. I need to explore all the options it offers because I only used the 120v outlets for the refrigerator/freezer. It definitely gives you ‘piece of mind’ when Mother Nature gets nasty. We ordered this to replace our generator that quit working. It was easy to assemble. This generator has great features and is big enough to run everything we need in a power outage. Even though it is a large generator it is easy to maneuver around.The electric start is a nice feature and it fired the generator right up. Quiet for its size. Have used smaller generators that are much louder. Very happy with this purchase.

With power outages I wanted something that I could depend on when our grid was out and I finally bit the bullet and I should have a long time ago!! Simple to operate, perfect remote start each time and does more than I ask for. I am so happy with this product!!

I bought this generator after reading up on generators. I picked it up the other day and so far so good. Everything looks like good quality parts. I don’t really want to use it but when it is time to hopefully it will be dependable as previous reviewers mentioned.

Living on the Gulf Coast in Texas all my life, I have experienced many hurricanes and most recently last year, power outages due to freezing temps. In the past I purchased 2, 2000 watt , 115volt generators, mainly for refrigerators and freezers. Now I have “whole house” protection. Feels good to know I have plenty of backup, hope I never have to use it.

This is our first generator. It seems to be very well made, sturdy and good quality materials. The instruction manual was clear and easy to follow for our first start up. The electrical work necessary to connect the generator to the house was accomplished in only 2 hours. Our first start up was like magic. Using the remote starter the unit started right up and it was actually quieter than I thought it would be. Although I am not looking forward to having a power outage, living in the northeast we will certain have an opportunity to use it this winter. I feel confident that it will serve us reliably during the long New England winters.
