We experience power outages frequently where I live and I needed something to offset that. My son works from home and has to have internet. I am glad that I purchased this generator. Have only had it for about a month and it has already been of great use. It's a work horse.

received the wgen 9500 from shipper. Box was in good shape. Unit was in good shape. Followed assembly and startup instructions and unit started on first crank from keyless fob. have run it 5 hours and changed the oil. i upgraded from a 7200 watt generator to this 9500 running watt gen for this hurricane season.

I bought this generator last year and have had the occasion to use this multiple times since. The ease and convenience of startup and operation was very surprising and the remote start fob is a big bonus. Fold up/down handle makes it quite easy to maneuver to your desired location and tuck away to minimize the space needed.

we just bought to prepare for the upcoming storms and possible power outages. I couldn't believe how fast it shipped and how easily it started right up. This is going to be great to use to power up the house! I can think of many more benefits for outdoor projects and camping.

I have had this generator for about two months now. I haven't had to use it for an extended amount of time but I usually start it on a weekly basis and let it run for a few minutes. It has started up every time without an incident! I really like the features it has but I have not had a chance to use all of them for adequate commentary. The one thing that I do not like is the fuel gauge. You have to fill up the tank almost full for it to register and it doesn't seem to be accurate. Overall I am quite pleased with this product!

First two times the generator started fine using the battery start function. Turned battery switch to on position, green start/stop button lit, and pressing start/stop button generator started. Now have to use the recoil rope to start . Even using the choke in the proper position, takes several pulls and a shot of starting fluid to start. Once it starts it runs great. By the way I got this for our 40 foot RV, so if I were not there she could use the battery start function, as she can not pull the cord to start the generator.

I bought this generator based on a recommendation from my electrician. Quality product with great flexibility. Easy to operate. I really like the option of being able to remote start and stop the generator from in my house during inclement weather. Assembly was easy with tools, funnel and oil provided with the generator .

We bought this Generator because we knew that it's better to 'stay ready than having to get ready" in cast of power outage. I read the instructions and was able to operate the Generator. This generator ran our whole modest home!!! THIS WAS A EXCELLENT GENERATOR AND I RECOMMEND IT!

I wanted a carburetor not a fuel injection system. Not much was made clear to me in its description. This is just more electronic junk to go bad, including the remote, which is only greed. I did wonder why everyone in the US was selling these so cheap? Now I know. I had to change from the great generators I had been using to this! I hope it lasts through December. It has too many gadgets and they cannot even put the serial number on the manual... you have to go out in a storm when it arrives and find it just above the exhaust and try to write it down while breathing exhaust. I wonder what would happen in a storm if you were trying register it by breathing exhaust? Yet, there are thousands of warnings about everything. I am off-grid and have had 100s of generators, yet I cannot even work on this one. Westinghouse has made it impossible without a electronics shop to work on this machine. I will not buy another Westinghouse.. greed typical of companies like Westinghouse. I do not recommend this product for any place where you are using it as backup for storms.

I reviewed generators myself for several months. Then I checked other's reviews on the internet. Westinghouse came out on top. So far I have just fueled it up and ran a test. A little bit loud. But what do you expect from a 9500 watt machine? I consider this insurance for long term power outage. I live in a hurricane/tornadoes area. I really hope I don't need it, but ....
