I bought this generator Jan 5th. it was easy to set up with the great directions. We had the power go out last week and the generator worked great, I use oxygen and now it doesn't matter if the power goes out we can run my compressor and the fridge no problem. Thanks

I can't say I am excited to have to use this generator, but I am ready. Maine has a lot of trees and the power will go out. I'm a 74 year old widow and choosing a generator was a bit daunting for me, but have been told by my son and electrician that I did a great job finding a "good one". I should have no problems keeping the lights on, keeping the house warm and getting some household chores done. I feel much better knowing I won't need to mess with the hazard of having a gas heater in the house.

Just got this beautiful, powerful portable generator, for emergency backup incase of a power outage. A month ago our power went out for three days and we had to borrow a generator. It was an 8k generator and it kept up pretty good. After the power came back on we decided to purchase one ourselves. we chose the Westinghouse 9500 because it is reliable, powerful enough for our needs, and it looks good too.

Received generator and assembled. Began break-in process. Everything worked as it should. Ran great. Unfortunately towards the end of the process it began making a screeching kind of gritty noise. Could be the brushes or a bearing in the alternator causing it. Very disappointing to have problems with a new and expensive product. Hope this company stands behind there warranty.

I just bought this generator for my barn. I am very impressed with the solid construction and all the features. Easy to assemble wheels and clear instructions for initial set up - they even provided the engine oil needed. Remote works well and I didn't expect the automatic choke, which was a pleasant surprise. It is louder than I would have wanted, but for my use, I still rated it a five star.

Shipping was quick and arrived in good shape. Assembly was minimal and easy, just pin on the 2 wheels and 4 bolts for the feet. Added oil and fuel. Started quicker than expected, thought it might take a little bit to get the fuel into the carb, but fired right off. Seems to work with a small load, have not had a chance to load it up yet.

Just purchased the WGen9500 and wow. It is a beast of a machine and runs beautifully. For a larger generator it is pretty quite. The remote start is a great feature. More standing in the rain to start the genny. Overall I am extremely impressed with the quality.

I ordered this a week ago during a winter storm that caused us to lose power for 3 days. Very minimal assembly and clearly written instructions. I have no wired in a power inlet box to have the generator run my whole house off the breaker panel. Carries the load well with no issues.

Just got it and very excited to use it and see how much of my house it will run since we have all electrical appliances. Very nice out of the box, easy to assemble and very nice looking. Remote, push button start and 50 amp capability are my favorite features. I have no doubt it is going to be a great addition to our back up power system.

I purchased this generator to supply our house with power when the electricity goes out during storms at any time of the year, day or hour. We can now keep our stove, refrigerator, furnace, WiFi and lights with power. This is thinking ahead and thinking smart.
