I like this generator because it comes with everything to run the generator, including wheels and spark plug wrenches, and even funnels. I first considered buying a cheaper one at a cheap tool shop, but even after the other generator's discount this Westing House one seemed cost-effectively better because I would have to buy a wheel kit and battery separately if I had bought the cheaper one. That is, it wasn't actually cheaper. Plus, the WGEN9500 comes with several wonderful features, including the remote starting functionality. One thing, the remote starter key fob was tied to the pull cord (for manual starting) when it was delivered. I couldn't find it at first because I thought I would find it in the manual packet or the accessary box. When you assemble the wheels and feet, see the attached pictures. It would be easier if you open the box from the bottom and attach one wheel and the 2 feet first. Then, stick in some pieces of lumber under the generator. This will help support the generator while you attach the other wheel without leaving scratches on the frame.

I bought this gen 6 months ago and have had to use it to power the house a few times. It runs the entire house excluding the central air with no issues. The push button start is so nice when the weather is bad and you don't want to stand there using a pull to start.

I just recieved our new WGEN9500DFc. I did everything according to the instructs for set up. I put gas in and tried to crank it. Motor turned over but would not crank. I connected propane and it cranked right up. I had my 30yr handy man with me. We checked all procedures. Unit seemed fine on propane. NOTHING on gas. I called the customer service number. They said it could take a while for a tech response. Like how long? 21 DAYS , WHAT ???!!!! I think I like the unit, but I got dual fuel because that's what I wanted. I expect it to work and not have to wait 21 DAYS!!! I hope they call me soon. I will rate it at another time.

I am thrilled with the price of this generator. My friend had purchased the same product and had it hooked up by an electrician. I will be doing the same thing this week. Thank you for giving a reasonable option to generator backup. I live on the coast in Florida so this is an important piece of equipment to own and have ready.

After a few days without power, I ordered the WGen9500. Powerful enough to run everything I needed. It showed up in 4 days when they said it would. Opened the box, everything was there; generator, wheels, rubber feet, oil, battery charger, and tool. Read the instructions. Step by step with pictures. All I needed to do was put the wheels and feet on, add the oil, and connect the battery wires. The handle was already attached and the battery was charged. Then, added fuel. Nice tank size, 6.5 gallons. Flipped the breaker switch to on, put the rocker switch to RUN, turned the fuel valve to ON position. Pulled the cord slow to prime the engine. Pressed the start button, and it started right away. Tested the 4 outlets immediately with quietestan electric chainsaw, each one worked. With the rubber feet, it didn't move from where I started it. Purposely had it on a slight incline just to find out if it would"walk". It stayed put. Also wanted to know how loud it would be. It said about 74 decibels. Fairly accurate. I have an older one that's rated for 5,000 watts which is much louder. I am going to have it be able to plug into the fuse box of the house and build a box for it to make it a little quieter. It was the quietest one in the neighborhood, even without a box over it. I like the plastic "no flat" wheels. The handle is wide with foam grip. Solidly built. Easy to move. Tried the remote start/stop. Did both first try. From the door of the house. It was in the driveway. I would highly recommend this generator.

Hooked it up this weekend (need an electrician for the manual transfer) to prepare for the coming storm. I can run both fridges, freezer, central air, wall AC, lights, microwave, hot water heater, etc... This is amazing! For less than a 10th of the cost of a standby generator this thing does this trick. Unless you can't buy gasoline in preparation, I'd recommend this over any standby product. It's super powerful.

I reviewed many different generators and felt this would be one on the best. After using it I am very happy with my purchase. Runs great and functions as advertised. Would highly recommend this generator to someone looking to purchase such a product.

I bought this a month ago as I installed a transfer switch in my house. Although I have not used it in actual outage scenario, I have tested it with the load I would be putting against the generator and it handled it without issue. There is no better generator for the power and great price point.

Generator works great but craftsmanship could be improved. both lower crossbraces were slightly bent but were easliy straightened. Generator is louder than most so don't expect a quite Honda like sound. Dollar for dollar, pound for pound well worth the money!

This generator is packed with great features. Easy start and comes with a remote start and stop fob. Easy setup. Comes with every thing you need for setup in the box. No need to go looking for wrenches. Handle folds out for great leverage when moving the generator and folds up to get it out of the way to save space. It has a rope start also in case you forget to charge it. It also comes with a battery charger if you don't want to start it every few months. It's probably better for the engine if you start it once in a while.
