Awesome generator, great features and like the electric/remote start. It cranks right up and so far has ran really well. When it arrived it was damaged and got a replacement without any hassle. Would definitely recommend this generator to anyone and already have to all my friends.

I bought the 9500/12000 last year around July/August through a relative. I am not based in the U.S. Started good and then all of a sudden couldn’t start. I called a repair man who opened the engine to find out that the cam was rubbing against the engine case which broke some parts of the cam with spring and something else. After it was replaced, the generator ran well, but then it stopped turning off with the remote. The generator came with factory issues. Other than these issues, I think the generator is good. But why an aluminum coil for such generator?

Recently purchased the WGen9500c. This generator is feature rich and value packed. My wife especially appreciates the remote start feature. We live in a small two bedroom home on the coast. This should be able to power my entire home if heavy wattage users like a/c window units are managed properly.

Knew I wanted a Westinghouse as I have owned a smaller inverter unit and loved it. Went to 3 different stores to find it and have no regrets. This thing works perfect and has all the outlets I need for my purposes (work and home use). Also really appreciate the remote start feature.

I borrowed this model from a friend during a power outage. Easy to start, large 7-hour gas tank and enough power to run the entire house including the main home 5-ton AC. We saved enough in spoiled food in a single outage to pay for half the total cost. Living in Texas this is a must have. 50 Amp circuit makes powering the house easy. Ordered my own immediately after basking it the A/C for an hour.

Full disclosure… I haven’t had the need, thank God, to attach this generator to my panel to run my house. That’s the only reason I can’t give it a five star rating as of yet. It was incredibly easy to set up. Even the oil was included in the packaging. It started right up whether I cranked it, pressed the button on the unit or started it with the fob. The features on this thing are absolutely fantastic. It’s so user-friendly that I’ve started it up multiple times since that first day just to keep it primed. Hopefully I will never have to use it to power my house, but I have confidence that it will give me no problems should I need to. Great product!

Was delivered on time and was real easy to set up. Love the electric start and the remote start feature. I was surprised how quiet it was for a larger generator. This is my third generator and I already like it more than my previous generators. I don't think my wife will have any problem using it.

We were about to buy an installed, natural gas whole-house backup generator, but the trenching, new 400 amp service (electric company requirement), and on and on added about 50% to the already high price. This will keep us going through our too-frequent power outages and keep the heat on and the refrigerators and freezer running, and we can always take it somewhere if we want. I do plan on installing a tri-fuel converter, and this generator will easily allow that without cutting the frame of our new generator. We don't have propane but do have natural gas, which will be far easier than carrying and storing dozens of gallons of gasoline.

I bought this unit to provide household power in the event of an extended power outage which has occurred three times in the past 20 years due to hurricanes. I also have a Honda 3.8K generator which I have for 16 years and it has never missed a lick but it is not powerful enough to provide power to my hot water heater or oven. This Westinghouse Generator will provide me with sufficient power

Bought this a few days ago to replace an existing one arrived undamaged. Assembly was easy just put wheels on and the pads connect the battery and charge and it started right up. Tested and it ran my boiler refrigerator and 2 freezer's plus all the lights very happy with this generator
