Just received my WGen9500 wheels super easy to install. Mounting feet easy to i stall also. Iam missing the Fob so called and waiting for a call back now. Im excited to have this Generator knowing i have back up power now since i live on the water on the west coast of Florida. Also a feeling of relief know its here for that just incase moment. Haven't started it yet waiting on my fob.

After numerous power outages over the past couple of years, I decided to purchase a generator. After reading reviews, I chose a Westinghouse WGEN95500C. Packaging, Directions, Condition of Product & Early Performance have all met any expectations I have had. I have not needed it due a power loss, but as of now, all the testing I have done has shown I have a made a great decision.

We purchased this generator almost a month ago and couldn't be happier with our decision. Living in Eastern NC, we experience hurricanes yearly, and we get the occasional winter snowstorm. We live out in the country and anytime any such storm is forecasted, its practically a guarantee we will lose power. In the past, these power losses have been anywhere from a few hours to several days. I have a 26-year-old special needs daughter who spends the majority of her life on the internet. Of course, no power...no internet, It doesn't take long before everyone is in a fowl mood. Also, if the outage extends more than a few days we lose 2 chect-type freezers full of food and everything in the refrigerator. Added to all of this, I, myself was put on oxygen by my doctors in July. Its something I will have to deal with for the rest of my life. As you can read, taking all of these circumstances into account made selecting a generator a very important decision. We did our homework and researched several different models and brands. After much deliberation, we decided on the Westinghouse WGen 9500. It met all of our needs and then some, It's big enough for the square footage of our house, and having the option of using the remote is truly a blessing, I don't want to have to go out in a storm at my age to pull start it, at 70 years old, it's not safe. We haven't had it a month yet but have already put it to the test. We took almost a direct hit from tropical storm Ophelia last weekend. We lost power before the storm even made landfall. Within minutes we were back up and running. Nobody got fussy without the internet, we had no loss of food and I was able to continue on my oxygen. This generator is definitely a lifesaver. We do have plans to have it hard wired to the house when finances permit but even using it with cords, we couldn't be happier. I would like to receive the cover to protect it. We just purchased this after our last power outage. We pulled it out of the box, set up instructions were easy to follow and it fired right up. It came with oil and all that was necessary except the gasoline. Love that it came with a remote start and are so happy about the peace of mind it gives us to now have this stored and waiting for our next outage.

Box was damaged when it was received, but the delivery guys and I saw no damage to the product. Was easy to assemble and I tested the pull start, electric and remote start. They all worked great. The unit had a wire that was broken (I think the low oil sensor). They are working to help me with it so I have no real problem with the generator.

I bought this Westinghouse a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it. Very easy to unpack and assemble wheels. It is also very easy to maneuver around. I needed more watts to power my house when storms knock off the power. This unit will do the job. It has 9500 running watts, plenty to take care what I need to power on during a power outage. And, it has a remote control electric start. I don't even have to get out of my house to crank the generator.....awesome feature that other generators don't have. Highly recommended!!

I bought because Westinghouse , has been around a long time and they are noted for quality and dependability. There are so many different manufacturers , but none can compare to Westinghouse. This thing is built like a tank , very sturdy. Works Awesome.

I purchased this generator to replace my old one which quit working. I was pleased with how quickly it arrived. It was easy to unpack & to put on the feet & wheels. After putting gas & oil in, it started right up. Have not actually had a chance yet to put it to full use but will be ready should our power go out. I have great expectations so I hope it doesn't disappoint.

We purchased this generator in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. We have a smaller generator that was able to provide lights and small appliances. We wanted something bigger that would run window a/c units as well. We had a generac 8500 that has never worked right since day 1. We purchased this one based on a friends recommendation the Westinghouse name.

Received the generator this morning and within an hour it was up and running! Detailed instruction manual was clearly written. I can't wait to try the remote start and down the road I'm going to use the Transfer feature which was one of the selling points for me. Great job Westinghouse!
