I live in Florida and figure that with the way 2020 is going to so, we're likely to get blasted with hurricanes all summer long, and my 6250/8500 generator of a different brand is not going to cut it for my family if we lose power for an extended amount of time. So I sold that unit and purchased this beast. First off, this is a great value, I looked at similar capacity generators from all the other major brands and this is the best value for power and overall features. The unit was delivered to my driveway and after unpacking I was able to put the wheels and feet on in a matter of minutes. I followed the instruction manual for adding oil, connecting the battery, pairing the remote, etc. I added about a gallon of fuel for the initial break-in. It started up pretty quickly - the starter had to crank it about 5 or 6 times before it fired initially, but it has started on the 1st or 2nd crank every time since. My initial impressions are very positive, it appears to be a very well built unit. It is noisy, but all non-inverter generators are noisy, and I actually think it is slightly less noisy than the older, smaller unit it replaced. Next step is to have an electrician install a transfer switch, stock up on beer, and then we are storm ready, and the beer will stay cold through it all!

Luckily we haven't had to use the generator since we bought it but it appears to be solid. Followed the simple assembly directions for the wheels then added oil and fuel. She started right up with a push of the button and ran beautifully. Did notice rust blisters on the top of the control panel so that will have to be sanded down and repainted at some point. Biggest complaint was with the shipping. The generator was clearly stored upside down because although they drained the oil, the little bit left inside ran out and was all over the top left corner and the control panel. The frame rail was also all scratched up (More Painting Will Be Needed) and the silica bag placed in the box was torn open and the silica beads were everywhere. Had to ensure none got into the generator before starting.

I'm a female and although it's heavy I am able to move it from my shed to my home when needed since it's on wheels and has a handle. It starts easy and is easy for me to use on my own. No man needed. I have it hooked up to my circuit panel and it powers almost everything in my home. I love the remote starter as well.

Very easy to put together. Even has the tools to make it easy. Provided the oil and the funnel to load into the unit. It started the first time the start button was pushed. The remote button was tried and again it started the first time. Can not come up with anything negative to say.So far the whole experience has been perfect

I just purchased this generator and i cant say enough about how pleased i am with this purchase. It was delivered with everything it was supposed to have. I was able to put the tires and front legs on with ease and in less than an hour. I filled it with oil and gas and hit the start button and it started right up.

It Looks like a well built unit. Heavy, but easy to put together. If only the thing would start. Im an aircraft mechanic, so adding the oil, and connecting the battery are not beyond my skill level. It turns over, but wont hit a lick. doesn't even try to fire off. So much for a thousand dollar investment in home preparedness.

Just received couple days ago so haven’t got to test it good yet. Have ran to break in everything works as should, really like the 50A receptacle feature. Put oil and gas in and hooked up battery and it started right up, seems like a good piece of equipment.

I've only had a chance to open, unpack and inspect it so far but I'm very impressed by what I see. It's extremely solid and well put together and it was very well packed. Paint is perfect and there are no sharp corners anywhere. I'm anticipating the operation of it to be just as good.

I bought this for my husband and myself of course, as we live in a rural area, that tends to have several power outages, from rain & wind storms to Snow or ice storms. We have been left "in the dark" too many times, I did some searching for generators, and looked at MANY reviews, and this one seem to have the best, and what we were looking for. It has enough running watts to run our chest freezer, sump pump, refrigerator, furnace, lights and more! has a push button start, even a key fab, It is very user friendly. It is not too loud, We now are not nervous during storms in case the power goes out, this generator can run 17.5 hours on a full 6 gallon tank of gas. I highly recommend!

I purchased this a little over a month ago. I was concerned when it showed up in a damaged box with oil all over the bottom of it. However, after opening the box I was relived that the unit itself was undamaged and I have no clue where the oil came from. Easy, minor assembly and the unit started and ran perfectly. I have only put approximately 25 hours on the unit, but so far it has been excellent.
