Just bought the generator so I cannot comment on how it performed during power outage. I can say that the setup was straight forward and the generator started right up. I plugged to my transfer switch and it had no problem powering all my selected circuits. Machine is well built and is easy to move around. I am very happy with it,

Ordered product and received it well ahead of promised delivery. Was very easy to set up for running. Bought this product for emergencies with power outages. Hopefully I will never need to use it but I feel confident it will meet all my expectations.

I purchased this WGen9500 generator a few weeks ago.I have done a fake drill power outage and this generator is capable of doing my house plus my well pump which I'm very happy for.I ran it for over an hour and no problems what so ever! I know they make bigger and smaller generators but this WGen9500 with peak of 12500 is just right size for my house and even got some spare power.Wonderful machine.

I bought this generator in early September to operate my 5th wheel trailer. It has been doing a great job. We run the generator approximately 24 hours a day for two weeks following Hurricane Laura. The generator did well at running the majority of my electrical circuits. I run two A/C units (13.5amp & 15amp units) during the day and one overnight with no issues.

I bought the WGEN9500 to plug into my transfer box and run my whole house. I bought the unit in an emergency situation and have been unable to test it fully, however the amount of time that we ha e run it and in the limited capacity of use it performed very well.

We live in a rural area and when the power goes out, it can take some time for the linemen to get out this way. Now they can take there sweet time if they need to because this generator will power everything that I need to here on the farm. Great product and i would recommend to anyone that needs some serious power

We bought this in July for emergencies when our power goes out as our house is totally dependent on electricity. Our well and heat will not work without electricity so we wanted something dependable and well built. This Westinghouse is both. It started right away once all liquids were filled. Although don’t like losing power but now we have a dependable backup.

wish I had it for Hurricane Milton. I purchased based upon the reviews and Westinghouse reputation. when my electrician came to install the 50amp interlock, he said I couldn't have made a better choice. Unit started right up, took it through the break in cycle. I'm ready for the next power outage. very pleased, I especially like the covered outlets

This generator does everything that we need it to do. It is very easy to tie in to a transfer switch and power the whole house. While it doesn't have enough power to run everything, the essential things (refrigerator, freezers, lights etc) are no problem to run full time and with just a little load balancing you can run a/c. With the frequent outages in CA, a good generator is a must have. Very happy with the purchase.

VERY slow delivery, with no communication until the day before AND with the straps cutting through the packaging. (It arrived >3 weeks after I had the transfer switch installed based on the anticipated delivery.) I'll also probably have to change the oil: it came with 10W30, but after filling per the start guide, I learned that for my current temperatures, I need to use 5W30. The temperature range should be on the start guide or (better) the recommended 5W30 Synthetic oil should be supplied instead of the 10W30.
