Hello, I am mother of two and our power always goes out during the winter. This winter I was prepared with the dual powered generator. I also added the plug on the house. I was excited to use it but we didn't get a freeze this year. Ha, but I was ready.

Bought this generator to provide power after big storms. It arrived in good condition and was easy to unpack. The instructions for setting it up were easy to follow. The unit started easily and runs nicely. Running noise level is good but not great. The unit is easy to move around using the attached handle. Overall, very pleased with the purchase.

I recently received this generator and am excited to lose power! It feels incredibly solid and runs a lot quieter than I would anticipate a generator of this size. The electric start had an initial hard time turning over but I was able to start it right up manually and since it starts just fine with the electric start. So far I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this last year and didn't open box for 3 months expecting nothing to be wrong with it. I found it was damaged. Being out of 30 day return time frame, Westinghouse replaced unit. Quite surprised. Customer service was phenomenal. Tested operation on all electric house. Unit fired right up and maintained power to whole house. Easy to start and easy to run. Simple. No more darkness and multiple coats.

Have not had to use generator yet, but tried a practice run to see what the generator will run. We had hoped for lights,refrigerator, and small window A/C. We were very delighted that it was able to run everything we wanted. Starting generator was very easy. Also as a side note, we had already installed a separate box for generator and had shut off of main power so there is no back feed. Hopefully we won’t have to ever use it during storms but good knowing we have a back up available.

Don't lose power much anymore, but in today's social and weather climate, we feel like we should be prepared. Just took this out of the box and assembled. Maybe I will put a little gas in and run it for a bit on the weekend. Liked the reviews, just pray I don't need it.

I bought this last month after another long power outage. The generator works wonderful for all of our needs. It is very heavy duty and will power everything you hook to it. Love all the different connection points and the easy of rolling it wherever you need it. You definitely get what you pay for!

Everything was simple to put together, heavy generator for sure until wheels go on then just fine. Load tested it on house good to go. If i had to pick 1 or 2 things I'd say first they only give you 1 quart of oil and it takes a tad more. Secondly they claim 6.6 gallon gas tank i think that's a bit optimistic...i over fill my 5 gallon has can cause i can so think it's more like a 6 gallon tank. Lastly, and i guess i kinda knew it, if your going to have a remote control for a start I'd say be sure it has some sort of auto choke cause otherwise what is the point.

I am highly satisfied with this terrific Westinghouse 9500 generator. The features are fantastic. I tested this machine out and it lived up to the advertisement and more. I'm telling all my friends who are in the market for a generator to be sure and purchase this one!!!

Just received this today, so maybe jumping the gun with 5 star, but it looks to be a great hi output generator. Followed the quick start procedures and it started in a second. Let it run for awhile and connected to my whole house outlet. No problems so far. Remote start and battery charger are great features. Had to rope crank the old Generac.
