I did dozens and dozens of hours researching generators and by far this one gives you the best bang for your buck. It supplies power to my 2000 ft² home with my 3.5 ton AC unit without breaking a sweat. All of this for a fraction of the cost of using a generac base system. I would highly recommend this to anyone

I bought this just a few days before hurricane IAN ripped through our area. It performed better than expected. We lost power around shortly before noon on September 28th. The generator started easily on the first try and ran continuously for about 11 hours each day (4) until the power was restored. I shut it off at night and restarted in the morning. It used about 6.5 gallons of gas each day, which I thought was very good. It ran great even during rainy periods. It ran my refrigerator, several lights and tv's without straining. After the hurricane I had a transfer switch and outdoor inlet plug installed so I can run the central AC. I tested the system and it performed flawlessly running the AC, refrigerator, dishwasher, 3 tv's and several lights, microwave and a toaster for over an hour in 90 degree southwest Florida heat.

I bought this generator for a backup for my house in case of a power outage and also for potable power for my ranch. We live on the Texas gulf coast and from time to time we have a hurricane and power outage. This generator will keep my freezer and refrigerator going when there is no power. I also use the generator to run my welding machine at remote locations as well as my electric pole saw and chainsaw when I prune my trees out in the pasture. The remote start is handy when I am setting up to work on something I don't have to drop everything and go start the generator. I am very pleased with my generator.

I bought the generator a month ago to have piece of mind in case of an outage. The generator covers all my necessities (fridge, furnaces, wifi, lights, outlets, water heater, sump pump, garage doors, etc), has great features like remote start, was easy to assemble and easy to start on the first attempt.

As a 78 year old, love the remote start option - main reason for purchase. Also had electrician hook up an outside box to plug into electrical panel, eliminating cords and plug all over house. All just in time for hurricane season and the excellent power of this generator will operate all essential electrical needs.

Neighbor helped me set it up. Started it with an estimated 1/4 gallon of gas and it ran for 35 minutes before running out of fuel. It is very quiet for its power output. My neighbor owns another brand, only a bit more powerful, and couldn't believe how quiet the Wgen 9500 is.

Bought this generator about 3 weeks ago based on the great reviews I read online. It was delivered on time and damage free. Easy set up and it started right up after adding the oil. Used my power washer in order to break it in a bit. Very excited to have an electric start vs. pull start. The remote was easy to pair and it works well. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone! The only reason I have not given it 5 stars yet is because I have not experienced a power outage since purchasing this generator.

I purchased this should we have power go out and need some power for the house. Seems to be well built and starts easily. There are a lot of features with 9500 running watts in my unit. Everything has tested out fine and the item was shipped superbly. I purchased this brand because of the many positive reviews and solid name that Westinghouse has. I hope to get many many years of use out of this thing!

I just got this today. It was a little beat up during shipment (scuffs, scratches and a dent I noticed after speaking to customer service). I called customer service and they were great and we settled any problems. They took care of everything. Later I started it up using the remote and it started first try. Let it run a few minutes and tested out the 50amp outlet. It all worked well. Hopefully if we lose power again this thing lives up to all the other reviews I read. I only gave 4 stars because of the additional time I spent on phone and shipping.

My generator arrived today. Put in some oil and gas, followed instructions and it started right up. The remote starter also worked well. I had a question,so I telephoned the customer service number provided and talked with a very nice lady who answered my questions. Haven't had time to run it under a heavy load yet, but I am very satisfied to this point.
