I bought this to provide power during a hurricane which are frequent in Florida. When I got an interlock switch wired to my panel, The electrician said that he uses the Dual Fuel version and recommended them, and it was sufficient to run his Central Air on a 1800 sq ft home. I have not tried to test yet, but knowing that was very convincing coming from the electrician

I recently received this generator and am excited to lose power! It feels incredibly solid and runs a lot quieter than I would anticipate a generator of this size. The electric start had an initial hard time turning over but I was able to start it right up manually and since it starts just fine with the electric start. So far I'm very happy with this purchase.

Bought this in prep. for hurricane season. Unit came 99% ready to go - putting on the wheels and feet were a breeze! So far, I have only done the initial start up, but was able to plug it into my 220V, and do a "dry run" of it. It was able to power up one of my central A/C units with no problem (the smaller of the two), and I also hooked up some of my essentials (fridges, t.v., a few lights/power outlets). The noise isnt as bad as I thought it would be. At this running wattage - it is what it is. This this looks like it will easily handle any hurricane that comes our way - and I am not expecting us to be out cold for a week, here in Texas again, like we were earlier this year!

Both my neighbor and I bought one and they both burned up. One had 126 hours and the other 170. Both have either warped heads or bent valves. This is complete crap!!! Will never buy Westinghouse “anything” again. One we converted to natural gas the other was running on straight gas.

We bought this for hurricane season in case of power outages or for friends visiting with RV's. It generates plenty of electricity to provide power to everything we want and then some. The electric start and the ability to turn it on and off remotely is great. The only downside I've seen so far are the cheap bearing used in the wheels. The bearing cover/seal on one of the wheels was off and laying in the box when I opened it. I snapped it back in place but don't have much hope of it staying that way because it doesn't snap in tightly.

I just got this today. It was a little beat up during shipment (scuffs, scratches and a dent I noticed after speaking to customer service). I called customer service and they were great and we settled any problems. They took care of everything. Later I started it up using the remote and it started first try. Let it run a few minutes and tested out the 50amp outlet. It all worked well. Hopefully if we lose power again this thing lives up to all the other reviews I read. I only gave 4 stars because of the additional time I spent on phone and shipping.

I’m seriously impressed with this generator. The overall build quality is excellent and the remote start? C’mon. So cool to have and actually really convenient. It has plenty of power to run everything in our house with proper use. The only unfortunate thing I have to say is mine came with some cosmetic damage. Not sure when it was done to it but it has some scratches and scuffs on it. I included a picture for reference. But overall I’m very pleased and would absolutely recommend this generator.

This gen set was delivered today. Put the wheels and front feet on it by laying unit on its side as directions recommwended. Heavy but manageable for an old guy like me. Add oil, hooked up propane tank and started it up. Voltage report center says its putting out 244volts. Will try out the transfer socket to the house tomorrow.

This generator is well made and has some really nice features. Electric start, wheel kit, voltage/frequency/hour meter. It even comes with a trickle charger to keep the battery charged. The owners manual is very detailed and the maintenance section is informative. The gas tank is steel, not plastic. I was impressed with the build quality.

I bought this because I was losing power so often and for more than a day at a time. We lost power the week after we got it and it powered our entire house, WITH AC, for 2 days. Thats Refrigerator, A/c, lights and furnace for hot water. Never bogged down, I just had to fill with gas. Really easy to start, has the push button Fob as well. Really happy!
