Received the generator a couple days ago and it started right up after making sure all the oil levels and battery were good. I cant wait to convert it to natural gas/Propane so that I can use a cleaner source of fuel. This generator will last me for years to come and will power everything I need and more for my little one story home.

I wanted a carburetor not a fuel injection system. Not much was made clear to me in its description. This is just more electronic junk to go bad, including the remote, which is only greed. I did wonder why everyone in the US was selling these so cheap? Now I know. I had to change from the great generators I had been using to this! I hope it lasts through December. It has too many gadgets and they cannot even put the serial number on the manual... you have to go out in a storm when it arrives and find it just above the exhaust and try to write it down while breathing exhaust. I wonder what would happen in a storm if you were trying register it by breathing exhaust? Yet, there are thousands of warnings about everything. I am off-grid and have had 100s of generators, yet I cannot even work on this one. Westinghouse has made it impossible without a electronics shop to work on this machine. I will not buy another Westinghouse.. greed typical of companies like Westinghouse. I do not recommend this product for any place where you are using it as backup for storms.

I did a lot of research before buying and this WGen9500 seemed to be the least expensive of the competition that I considered. All parts arrived, very simple to assemble and it started on the first try. I really like the remote start fob, the data screen, and the fact that it has an oil level monitor. I've never seen a generator shipped with its own battery charger but that was yet another thoughtful touch. I' m ready for winter now!

I bought in Feb 2021, when the big snowstorm happened in San Antonio, TX, we weren't prepared but we are now! We got enough power to assist our family and neighbors should there be another crisis. Has Great features including a remote start, 12500 Peak Watts, plenty of outlets - we highly recommend it!

Bought this generator for emergency use and luckily have not had to use it. but its pretty much ready to go right out of the box! the remote is a nice feature. I'm going to have a professional set up a cable from the unit to my breaker box. I'll be able to close off the main breaker and then back flow power to the box during power failures. Its not an automatic solution, but we don't experience many power failures where I live.

Just received it today. The directions are clear and concise and it was easy to assemble the stand and wheels. After adding the supplied oil and some gas it started right up. I have run it 2.5 hours with a minimal load on both 120 and 240 volt circuits, stopping and starting it twice. The voltage appears to be very constant. I will break it in for another 3 hours tomorrow. Thus far I am very pleased with the generator.

I purchased this generator to power my garage until the permanent power is hooked up. Received it today, the instructions were easy to read, it came with oil for the engine. I Installed the wheels, hooked up the battery and added gas, it started right up and I used it for about 2 hours to power my saws and compressor. I’m happy!!! When the permanent power is hooked up I plan on using it for a back up for the house if the power should go out. Very happy with my generator so far and just to let you know it can be moved very easily and I would recommend this product.

We live in the country and depend on a well for a water supply for my wife and I and our animals. After 5 days without power I picked one of these up to get our well pump running again. Yay, running water. Once we had a water supply the electric water heater, fridge, lights, and internet were next. This generator kept us powered up and comfortable for the next 6 days. It started right up every morning and ran reliably and consistently all day long! THANK YOU!

With power outages I wanted something that I could depend on when our grid was out and I finally bit the bullet and I should have a long time ago!! Simple to operate, perfect remote start each time and does more than I ask for. I am so happy with this product!!

Generator worked great when I first purchased and test ran. Ive started it monthly,since purchased in August of 2023, to let it run a little and shut it off since I have not had the need to run it continuously yet. Today, 1/10/24, I started it up and a few minutes later the CO sensor, yellow light, comes in and shuts down the generator. I even placed it in the middle of my backyard away from everything to try it and it still shuts down due to the CO sensor.
