Started right up. Having problems finding a cover for it and only leaving a review before actually using it because it said you could get a free cover, but apparently supplies are out, so it seems silly even leaving a review for a product we haven’t even used. The oil it comes with isn’t enough to fill it, so make sure you have extra. It is quiet for a generator it’s size, but definitely loud. I actually can’t wait for our next power outage, since it’s located on the side of our house next to the neighbors with the constantly barking dogs! ;)

I have only had the WGen9500 generator for a week but it seems to do everything that I need it to do. It has great features and plenty of power. My only complaint is that the fuel gauge does not register until the tank is nearly full and it doesn't seem to be that accurate.

I bought this to replace an old 5500 generator not a Westinghouse as I wanted a larger one to power my house during the hurricanes here in Florida. Ordered it and received it in two days right on time. What needed to be put together took 15 minutes. Added oil that was supplied and put gas in it and it started up the first time. I got this particular one as it has electric start either with the push button on the generator or the supplied fob. Quieter than I expected. I did this particularly so my wife can start it. I would order another in a heartbeat.

I use this in my mobile detail business. It is easy to start. hopefully the circuit breakers will not blow as I use a dual cord carpet cleaner with a heater in it. Have not had a chance to test this yet. It has more power then my last generator. (1500 wats more and a 50 amp circuit.)

Bought this a month ago to be better prepared for hurricane season. Did test run for 6 hrs and unit performance was excellent! Started right up and full power to my house. I highly recommend this generator to anyone wanting backup power or for use to run off grid. Thank you Westinghouse for a quality product. Sincerely a friend in Florida

I bought this a month ago in preparation for peak hurricane season to power my house in case of power outage. It has everything I need and more to get the job done. Remote start is a bonus feature. Ran a trial run and was able to run everything in my house including a/c.

I bought the WGen9500 on 12/15/21. Picked it up the 22nd and put it in the garage. Today, 1/8/22, I finally opened the box to get it set up and ready. Wheels went on nice and easy, the front supports we're the same ease. It's so much easier to move on the wheels. Putting oil in it was a little tricky because the funnel that comes with it is a little too short but it's definitely manageable. Finally I put fresh fuel in. Tried to start it a couple times and it wouldn't start. I started looking around and finally found the fuel shut off valve. I opened it up and on the second crank, it fired right up. Very easy set up. I did it alone and it took about 15-20 min for all of it. I'm having an electrician come to hook it into the breaker box so I'm able to use it to power the necessities in the house. So far, so good! Awesome machine.

The Wgen9500 purchase far exceeded our expectations. The generator came packed nicely and without any damage. The flexibility of multiple power outlets controlled by a built-in circuit breaker and electric start are two of the highlights. Throw in the remote start option and we simply won’t have to run out every time we want it started. I researched several brands of portable generators and found that this one has a great reputation for quality. I cannot find any cons for this unit.

I brought this due to recent power outages. It has enough power to run my entire home which is what I wanted from a generator. It is loud (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) similar to a lawn mower but I think that is the trade off to get the required power to run a home. Overall very happy it has a lot of options for powering things and the electric start is a great feature.

The generator worked fine for a day or two then the panel light started to go off working intermittently.. after the third week the panel light stopped working completely and would not start even by manually pulling …I know electronics can be finicky and one bad part can ruin the whole pot of soup… but we are off grid and rely heavily upon the generator when the sun is scarce…
