I purchased this product for my home backup during an emergency outage. I wanted something that could handle most if not all of my circuits. This generator performed excellent during my test and had plenty of room to spare. For the price and the features this generator easily beats the competition.

After a couple months of reviewing different portable generators. We made the call to purchase the Westinghouse brand due to features and cost. It was delivered and very easy unpacking.. It even came with the oil and all the tools to assemble. Hurricane season is here and I am very certain it will be able to handle an needs we can give it.

Leaving a review to get the free cover for generator, which should be included. This removes my trust of all of the 5 star reviews. Are most positive reviews just to get the free cover? I wont be able to review it until I use it for a couple years. Hopefully its durable and built to last. It looks great.

I bought it cause I have a huge bouce house that uses 3 3hp blowers and my house outlets couldn't handle it. I did run into an issue but I figured it out. I couldn't plug 2 blowers on one outlet of the generator at the same time but I bought an adapter for the 30 amp outlet and it worked. Sofar I love it

I purchased in Oct. 2022 and have had 3 opportunity to use and it performed as hoped each time. Set the choke, hit the start button 3 times and its running and supply's my entire house and unattached garage. It is set outside with temps to -7 below zero. I do have a battery maintainer attached

I purchased this generator after a recent extended power outage. After thorough research I decided on this Westinghouse WGen9500 model. Although I have yet to use it other than a test run, it has a very impressive look and build to it. Started right up after adding oil and gas. Impressive features as well, including the 50A outlet. Although I don't hope for a power outage, I am very excited to know I am covered next time.

I bought the 9500/12000 last year around July/August through a relative. I am not based in the U.S. Started good and then all of a sudden couldn’t start. I called a repair man who opened the engine to find out that the cam was rubbing against the engine case which broke some parts of the cam with spring and something else. After it was replaced, the generator ran well, but then it stopped turning off with the remote. The generator came with factory issues. Other than these issues, I think the generator is good. But why an aluminum coil for such generator?

I reviewed several portable generators and nothing matched all the features, power and price this one did. Upon arrival I inspected the box, no problems found. When opening the box everything was nicely packaged and complete. I followed the instructions leading up to starting it, it started the first time with no problems.Very pleased!!

The box was damaged but the generator was in great shape due to protective packaging. The electric start and remote start work as advertised - perfect! It is also easy to start with the recoil pull cord. I am amazed that a generator with this much power is so compact and easy to move.

I'm extremely happy with this purchase. Although we have not lost power yet, we have tested it, as if, we did lose power. Works excellent. Started right up with the electric start and with the remote starter. The remote starter is a nice touch to make the process that much easier.
