The cake part of it was really good but, the crust and crumb topping were very hard making it so you're only able to eat the cake itself. Rating is between a 2 and 3 star so i gave it a 3 since the cake was good

This is great. I see many say it is dry. As another reviewer mentioned, just put a piece in the microwave for a short time and you will be very happy.

I initially thought it was a cumb topping on top of a cake, but the texture throughout is dry and cumbly. First time I've had such a dry pumpkin based dessert. Three people tried it, three people couldn't/woludn't finish a slice.

This cake was dry and tasteless. My daughter didn't like the one I bought for her also. Not sure who the taste testers were for this product when it was manufactured. I returned both and got my money back. Just awful bakery item!!

I received a reimbursement for this product to leave an honest review, I shared this cake with family ages 3-80; EVERYONE absolutely loves it.This cake's creamy middle has an old fashion/classic flavor with a hint of fall spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves) and pumpkin. The top is deliciously crumbly and crunchy with almost a hint of chocolate and the butteyr crunch melts in your mouth satisfying all types of cravings and appetites. The delicious combination of super moist and crunchy is EXCELLENT. Not too sweet, just PERFECT. Great as a tea/coffee cake and an all around dessert. YUMMY!

I am baffled by the negative reviews. My husband surprised me with this delicious crumb cake today and I was floored by how good it is! While the base cake is truthfully not particularly pumpkin-forward, it certainly is a great moist texture, and very flavorful. But, for those not in the know, a true (NY) crumb cake has exactly these type of crumbs; dense, sweet and crumbly, and as thick as the cake layer itself. It's not meant to be a streusel topped coffee cake since it's specifically called crumb cake. Sam's nailed it! This was particularly welcome because the other 2 warehouse clubs we are members of both used to carry NY style crumb cakes but haven't had them in years. I missed them. Thanks, Sam's!

My cake tasted how I imagined it would taste, like a coffee crumb cake. I'm not a fan of those type of cakes so this was ok for me. The crumb was definitely the star. Lots of it so it is a little dry. We just served ourselves the actual serving size. Not to indulge too much cuz it could be a bit overwhelming. Surprisingly we liked it.

The crumb topping was way too much, and it made it hard to get out of the pan. We heated the cake slices just a few seconds which gave it a better taste and easier to eat.

Worst bakery item I ever bought. Regular knife couldn't cut through top, had to use butcher knife, wouldn't cut until I used end of knife then whole top raised up when came down had powdered sugar all over, the cake is super dry, not much flavor. Save your money and buy Teramisou instead

Bought this on a recommendation and was super bummed. It's so dry. It's not really pumpkin flavored enough. The texture is strange; kinda cakey but not. This needs a lot of tweeking to be a good dessert. It totally missed the mark for me on all points.
