- 4 out of 5 stars review9/29/2024I bought this Pumpkin Crumb Cake with high expectations for my husband's birthday party. It was good, but not super amazing as I had hoped. I think it needed more pumpkin and less crumbing on the top. It kinda fell apart and didn't cut well either. Overall the taste was good, it had a good moist cake part and the top crumbles made you want to get all the little bits that fell off and eat them.

The topping was thick and very hard to cut thru. me and my wife tried it and neither liked it. she took it to work to get rid of it

When slicing it the crumble topping separated from the cake. The crumb topping was dry and very thick. The cake itself was good but not much pumpkin flavor. But this was perfect. It is thick and this makes the pieces the perfect size. The crumble on top is so pretty I almost didn't want to cut into it. The cake has a nice pumpkin flavor that isn't over powering. The cake itself is very moist and tasty. The crumble adds a nice texture but it a little dry and crumbly. I could have had less crumble. Overall a very nice dessert and one I would get again.

This reminds me of a coffee cake, but pumpkin flavored, very good with a glass of milk. I like the thickness and crunchiness of the topping. The size for the price makes this a great deal, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a tasty fall treat.
