I had the same tires for over 10 years and were fantastic,so when I decided to get new ones I chose the same ones. Not sure if the tires are faulty or they were installed incorrectly but they are WAY OUT OF BALANCE..I went back and had them rebalance them ( after some convincing) and there are still bad..I don't really want to return to the same shop but don't know what to do.

I had the Defender tire and after 40000 mi I replaced them with the Defender t+h. the handling at speed is not the same. My car is not as stable as it was before. The best way to describe it is that the car floats. When changing lanes or just going down the freeway. The car does not feel stable as it wants to follow road groves and the back end sways when I change lanes. It's as if the side wall is not the same. I have 205 r 55 16 s on the car and it's as if I have 205 r 65 16 on the car. As for the rest of the tire I cannot tell you as I have only put 800 mi on a road trip and did not have to drive in rain or have a panicked stop. But I will be replacing the tires. This issue is not on jut my car my sister has them on her car at the same time as me in a different state. Same thing for her.

I work at an automotive shop and my mother need a new tires on her Ford fusion I was looking around for the best deal and the best quality found a good deal on a set of Michelin's for my mother I will just put this into perspective my mom doesn't know anything about cars the very first text message I got was I can't believe how great these tires fill the tires are fantastic they're doing everything you're supposed to highly recommend buying except for my vehicle with my tires run out

I had Bridgestone tires on my Honda CR-V, they wore quickly, got bumpy and the ride was terrible! I've had the new Michelin Defender T&H tires on now for several months, have rotated twice since installing them and they are still looking like new and show no signs of wear. The ride is smooth!

I put these tires on my 1999 Chrysler 300M as a replacement for Michelin Defender LTX M+S, (Which I loved and still use on other vehicles) and have been incredibly happy! The road noise is all but non-existent, and the performance in wet weather is phenomenal. I will only use Michelin tires on this car! Worth every penny!

I bought these tires because of the safety rating and the ability to stop on wet roads. The amazing ride that these tires provide is 100% pure bonus. So my Michelin tires make me feel like I'm in a luxury car but most important they give me Peace of Mind!

Just bought my second set! I sold my last car that had Defenders with lots of mileage on them, but they looked like they only half worn! After my first set, I knew I would be buying them again for my current car. Michelin's are a little more money than some, but you get that money investment back since they last a long time! With the high mileage I do, these are a testament to how well they do. They handle nice and are quiet.

I bought these tires 3 years ago and had them rotated every 5k miles with my oil change. They are right at 50k and need to be replaced. Will see if Michelin stands behind their warranty of 80k miles. If not, one pays a premium price for an average product.

Had these tires for 10 months and they cannot hold the road at highway speeds. This is very noticeable on curves when driving over 80 km/h and also when braking at high speeds! There could be technical or design reasons but I think this is a lower quality tire than the previous two sets of Michelin tires I used. I ended up with the Defender T+H because the Michelin Pilot MXM4 was retired and the Defender supposedly replaced it. Sadly, it didn't measure up.

I bought my set of tires in March and the main reason I buy Michelin tires is because I have found that they are the safest tires to drive on front wheel and all wheel drive cars in rain when there is a lot of standing water on highway. Prevents hydroplaning. Have bought several sets of Michelin tires, never had any issues with them.
