Too firm

I absolutely love the performance and handling of this tire. That being said, it is too firm and does not absorb road bumbs/vibrations very well. This is very close to being the perfect tire, but Michelin really needs to tone down the firmness slightly, and improve the vibration control. I cannot comment on their longetivity as they are still fairly new.

Very Impressed by quiet drive, smoother control

My second hand Toyota Rav4 was roaring like muscle car and road noise was deafening. We finally put this tire set last week. Rav4 sounds like a car drive. Cannot believe it myself. Steering is lot smoother. Hopefully tires remain same throughout.

Tires for Jaguar

My wifes 2000 XJ8 drives like a dream. I also just put a st of LTX MS on my 99 "Suburban. This is the 5th set I have put on this truck. I also just put a set of Michelin Pilot Road 5's on my BMW motorcycle. You may notice a trend here. The tires are wonderful and they have never let me down.

Great tires!

I own a 2012 Prius in the Northeast. Have 220K, going to buy my 3rd set soon before winter. Originals were high mileage tires which were terrible in the snow. Bought these tires at 50K and on. I squeeze as much as I can too. Your mileage will take a 5-10% hit b/c they are all-season. Was geting close to 60 mpg, now get low 50s. Great commuter!

Smooth but only get 50k miles

I can't give 5 stars due to early wear. I've had several sets of the Defender 215/60 R16 tires. You get a smooth quiet ride but your only going to get about 50,000 miles before they begin to crack and tread is just about worn down. Handling in the rain will make you nervous and ready for new tread. I drive a 2002 Toyota Camry V6 3.0 engine and 4.9 years and 49.6k miles I need new tires. I am a fairly aggressive driver maybe. I do use the power of a 6 cyl. I am not sure more faithful rotations could get me 40k more miles. I am currently tire shopping and doing lots of research. I hear the pirelli is also a good tire, should I switch or not

Good tires but extremely noisy!!!

I bought these for my 2010 Honda Odyssey minivan and absolutely hate them!!! Got them around Thanksgiving and noticed that they were very loud and my MPG was not as high as with my previous tires. I tried to have them exchanged at the place I purchased them, but they would not honor the guarantee. Now that it is summer, and it's much hotter, the tires are even louder! If I had a disposable income I would change these out, but given the price of the tires, that is not possible. While the tread is great for all conditions, please note that you will hear an increase in road noise.

We understand the Defender T&H tires on your 2010 Honda Odyssey did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

Safety First

I bought my set of tires in March and the main reason I buy Michelin tires is because I have found that they are the safest tires to drive on front wheel and all wheel drive cars in rain when there is a lot of standing water on highway. Prevents hydroplaning. Have bought several sets of Michelin tires, never had any issues with them.

Great set of tires.

Replaced the now-discontinued Dunlop Champiro tires I had previously with 28,000 miles on them. The initial 10,000 miles sound like all-terrain tires as they are rated at 80,000 miles. Currently have 19,000 miles on them and they are holding up well. Even drove over a nail that hold up until I noticed it on the sidewall. That's how tough is it when driving 70 mph on the highway. Replaced the affected tire with the same brand as the other three.

What a difference !!!

Replaced the original tires on my 2013 Impala LT with Defender T+Hs. The car rides quieter and smoother at all speeds. Great on wet roads for handling and shorter distances for braking. Being H rated you can feel the firmness in cornering. Confidence !! Excellent choice for all these reasons.

Outstanding grip, quiet, smooth and comfortable ride!

I have owned multiple vehicles with various brands of tires, but never Michelin. Finally purchased a set last week. The difference in handling, grip, comfort and noise level is off the charts. I absolutely cannot believe what a difference they make! If I could give more than 5 stars, I most definitely would.
