I put these on my Corolla in late April. I did a little bit of muddy roads and a lot of long distance highway driving. I don't have years of experience driving, or with this car, to truly be able to compare differences. I felt like I had control at all times. I'm a fairly smooth driver, but I do have one tight ramp locally that forces hard braking and not once did I ever feel like I was losing traction.

I decided on the Michelin Defender T+H based on the advice on my Mercedes mechanic as he was spot on. These replaced my Pirelli P4’s with only 16k miles on. I was miserable with the Pirelli and was experiencing very poor traction in all conditions. The Michelins grip in all conditions and they have restored my confidence in my car’s safe handling. My Mercedes is thirty years old now and I still enjoy driving my 300E it’s almost as much fun as my R172...but not quite.

My husband purchased 5 of these for our honda odyssey exl mini van which he has out of town ,Michelin Defender tires are the Perfect choice for our mini van 80,000 mile warranty, noise level is so low you don't hear at all .Handling on the road is amazing. priced just right . I would recommend these anyday.

Bought Defenders in October 2014 for a 2009 Toyota Camry. I was impressed with reviews, and tread life advertised at 90,000. Figured a tire might not make its full tread life, but even in normal city/highway driving conditions, two of the tires are now at 2/32" after only 35,000 miles and 4 years, and should be replaced. One is at 3, and one is at four. I rotate every 5000; definitely have done one or two alignments since the initial installation alignment. Other than the tread life, the tire rode well and was quiet. I've seen other poor reviews of the Defenders due to tread life. Since then, Michelin has revised the line, so perhaps the tread life has improved.

These are on my 2012 Civic they have 70k miles now and are still quiet and smooth i'm at 7/32 on 3 and 1 is 6/32 i still have a few miles to go. I put a lot of miles on my civic these have been great in florida rain. I've never had a tire this good and i drive a lot. It is the t+h defender. Go buy a set.

didn't rotate these every 10,000k and they lasted like 40,000 k on my Jeep Patriot in mostly highway travel before I had to replace them because of wear. They were quiet and gave a smooth ride, but based on my experience I didn't go with them again.

I have 2006 Toyota Sienna purchased new; it has been a wonderful vehicle. Like many others, I consider safety above all other factors, which is why I have purchased these tires a number of times. However I have been disappointed with the durability of this tire. This will be the third set of Michelin Defender tires I have purchased for this vehicle. The first two sets have failed by a huge margin to meet expectation concerning durability. My wife religiously takes the time to have rotations done. The vehicle has been checked for proper alignment. No matter. Withing 30,000 miles we have been recommended twice to replace the tires due to uneven wear. Even with the pro-rated amount included in the price of a new set it has become more expensive than I think is fair. I was talked in to this last set by my wife because she believes your television commercials. The tire salesman said the compound was a new formula in making these tires and that they should last longer than the others. This does not increase my confidence in the brand. There are many tire manufacturers out there.

We've been riding on our new tires (all four) since August 2021. We have taken long highways trips and have climbed the mountains of the Western Catskills in New York. I never felt safer. The ride was so smooth that if my eyes were closed, I wouldn't know if I were on the highway or the dirt mountain road.

I work at an automotive shop and my mother need a new tires on her Ford fusion I was looking around for the best deal and the best quality found a good deal on a set of Michelin’s for my mother I will just put this into perspective my mom doesn’t know anything about cars the very first text message I got was I can’t believe how great these tires fill the tires are fantastic they’re doing everything you’re supposed to highly recommend buying except for my vehicle with my tires run out

Before I used MICHELIN® Defender 2016 which provided excellent and accurate braking performance, but the new model MICHELIN® Defender 2018 is horrible. After purchasing my new car with MICHELIN® Defender made 2018, I drove on the highway in winter about the speed of 70km, The slippy situation on tires happened Out of Control, and brought me extremely danger. With luck I turned the handling wheel and fully stop on the other lane and my car was in opposite direction with 2~3 meters toward the side of the guard bar of Hwy. It brought me very terrible experience, would be the Last time of installing MICHELIN® tire. Not recommended.
