I bought Michelin Defenders as my latest "summer" tires and they wore out after about 18 months of normal use less than 1/5th of the way through their 145K warranty and have been worse than any previous ones I've had. Going through the warranty process for these expensive tires is also a frustrating struggle so I'm very disappointed.

I original purchased this tire for a 2008 Corolla, no traction control or anti lock brakes, and found that winter traction was surprisingly good for an all season tire. I had approximately 50 000 kms on the tires when the car was written off January 2019, (I stopped but the guy behind me did not). The tires were wearing evenly and still looked new. I currently have the Michelin T & H tires on my Mazda CX-5 and could not be happier. They perform even better with skid control and antilock brakes. I have 7000 mms on them now and I look forward to many more years of trouble free service.

My second hand Toyota Rav4 was roaring like muscle car and road noise was deafening. We finally put this tire set last week. Rav4 sounds like a car drive. Cannot believe it myself. Steering is lot smoother. Hopefully tires remain same throughout.

I purchased set of 4 Defender T+H for my 2014 Subaru Forester in May 2018. The traction in snow was good this past winter. BUT, they are the Loudest tires I have ever used. I carpool with 3 other people and they all say they think the tires are very noisy. The noise is loud, then very loud as speed increases, especially when going over 35mph. They seem to be getting louder as I put more miles on the car. I only have 7000 miles on them. I hope the store that installed them will give me some credit towards installing new, quieter tires. I keep detailed mileage records. These Defender T&H tires are getting 7% worse mileage (comparing same month to same month) than the OEM Bridgestone tires that came when my Forester was new.

Bought these in April of this year to replace the original Continental Contacts that came with my new 2016 Honda CR-V. Was going to buy Toyos that I had on my 2008 CR-V, which I liked as they were quiet and smooth, but my go to tire shop person highly recommended that I would like the Defender better. So I gave them a try and he was right! They are actually smoother and quieter to the point that at times I have to look at the speedometer to make sure I'm within the speed limit. I've had these tires on my car for two years now, including winter. I love these tires. Never had any problem with them and they seem to hold the road good in all weather. This is the second set of these I have purchased, as I had them on my last car as well. Still have lots of tread left. I am buying Michelin winter tires this year for added protection. Michelin are the only tires for me!

Have had these tires for two months. Had to inflate 2 lbs over to ride well. Loved them except they won't hold air pressure. Would lose 3-5 lbs every two weeks in all weather conditions. If I put 34 lbs in each all would be 29 in a couple weeks. All four tires had this issue so it isn't a wheel problem. Strangest thing Ive experienced with any tires. Dealer is replacing them next week with another Michelin tire.

Bought these tires because I read that they provide a comfortable and quiet ride, and because Michelin has a good reputation. Unfortunately these tires have been the opposite of comfortable. The ride is very rough, even when I'm on what seem to be flat roads. Not sure if mine are defective or not but these tires have turned driving from a fun experience to something I really don't enjoy.

Replaced the original tires on my 2013 Impala LT with Defender T+Hs. The car rides quieter and smoother at all speeds. Great on wet roads for handling and shorter distances for braking. Being H rated you can feel the firmness in cornering. Confidence !! Excellent choice for all these reasons.
