Great Tires

These are the best tires I have ever purchased for my Corolla. They are extremely quiet and smooth at all speeds. I highly recommend this tire.

Great to be riding with Bib

Haven't had Michelins for years but must say I am extremely happy with the ride and performance regarding the tires I purchased for my Grand Caravan. This could lead to a long term relationship. Roll on!

Excellant Smooth Ride !

Michelin are the best tires you can have, cost a little more in the beginning but they pay off way down the road, smooth , quite ride and far less rolling resistance, a fine tire to say the least !

Will buy again!

Bought these just before the start of 2019 have over 40,000 miles on them. They are still looking good and are great in the snow and rain. Will buy them again.

Buyer Beware Tires subject to excessive cracking!

Purchased 4 defenders in 2014. All 4 have sever cracking on sidewalls 4 years later. Lots of tread left. Tires not over/under inflated, Harsh chemicals not used to clean or treat tire. Expected more from Michelin

Only lasted 32,000 miles

Purchased these tires July 2017. Went to have them rotated March 2019, & there's not enough tread left to rotate them. I only have 32k miles on them. Absolutely should not be marketed as 80k mile tires!

Great feel

I bought these tires for the handling and tread wear life. While they are not as quiet as they are rated, the handling is superior and it seems I am getting better gas mileage. Pretty happy overall with this purchase!

Don't buy for Prius!

I have these tires on my Toyota Prius and while the tires perform seemingly well, my gas mileage has decreased from 50 to 41. This is an absurd amount of change and therefore not worth the money. Do not but these for your Prius if you have one!

Ken, sorry to read this. New tires having full tread depth will have more grip and rolling resistance in comparison to worn tires.  As the new tires wear, the rolling resistance decreases.  Over the life of the tires, all things being equal, the fuel efficiency should improve.

Extremely Disappointed

I purchased Michelin T + H Tires 3-1/2 years ago with a 6-year, 80,000 mile warranty. with just over 30,000 miles. Tires no longer grip on damp roads spinning on acceleration from a dead stop. Dealer tells me I can replace with a prorated offer. I typically get 6 years with 60,000+ miles with a cheaper brand tire driving in harsh weather conditions.

MareBear, the limited mileage warranty should allow you credit toward a set of replacement tires. The amount of credit is based on the mileage received. Sounds like your retailer is handling this based on the warranty.
